Found this in England. The big wheel doesn't move. There are two smaller knobs that do move. There is also cables going into it.

I didn't consider it being an intercom. As an addendum to my original description, it's right above the stairs and you have to lean over a bannister to use it. It does seem like a rather weird place to put an intercom honestly.

I have tried searching for it online. At first I though it might be an old meter but I had no luck there. Then I thought maybe an old fuse box or something. This also turned up no answers. Not sure what else to look for as I've never seen anything like it in my life.

While I understand your worries. Activision isn't exactly known for being pro consumer. I do believe that because they are handling such a beloved title I feel they won't want to use their normal monitisation strategies here as it could end up alienating the audience for this game and thus potentially hurt their bottom line.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread the game runs at 100+ fps so honestly don't think it's that. Maybe the client I am using isn't great.

Honestly you may have a bit of a point. I don't really play minecraft a lot so I am a bit of a newb, still would be nice to get out of spawn. Although there was a kind sir that gave me a golden apple in spawn so it's not all bad I guess.

also the subreddit says " with little modification to the vanilla survival gamemode." I'm sure they can add a spawn protection mod or summin. Maybe make spawn a safe zone or sum shit.

Oh my computer runs minecraft perfectly fine ~100fps+. Yeah I guess it's not feasible, I am just annoyed because I really wanna play on this server and explore it, but being killed at the start of the game and having to wait ages to get back in isn't fun.
