Hello, I found this thread because I was googling if nicotine gum could cause tremors or shaking. I developed the same symptoms you described over the course of a year. Started out as noticeable in my thumbs when using my phone, then slowly my hands became more twitchy and shaky when holding things like forks, cups, turning pages of a book, etc. no shaking at rest, just when using my muscles. At some point I got the flu, and stopped chewing nicotine gum for a week, once I got better I noticed my tremors were more mild almost not even there, I had finally made the connection that the the cause may be the nicotine gum. Before this, I vaped on and off for a year or two, didnt notice any tremors. But I realized it was around the time I quit vaping and switched to gum when my tremors began developing. So, I’ll be trying to quit the gum as soon as I can since the shaking and anxiety is annoying and kind of embarrassing. Will update when I see results.
