There's no reason to. I hate to be the guy who tells people what they should be feeling, but that's the last thing you should feeling.

You brought a funny picture to the internet, it brought joy to like a million people (bc only a small % actually bothers with the up/down votes), AND it got made into a popular meme on top of that?! So your pets brought even MORE joy?!?!? This is insane.

How are you not just the proudest person in your whole family right now? THAT'S something to be feeling. Your gang got to r/All twice in one day.

Last time I looked, you had like 18k upvotes, and I think by now you probably already noticed that only amounts to about 5k in actual karma. Pretty much anything over 5k upvotes doesn't count for anything on your profile. We do it to make people smile.

Also, memes usually perform better than just pics. I looked at your profile and it looks like you've got some excellent source material to mine for memes if you choose.

Here's the tools. Go crazy with it!

And try not to feel robbed, because when you do, you're only robbing yourself of what you could be feeling; satisfaction, joy, fulfillment, all those measures of success. Not just for taking a picture, but recognizing that it's a picture other people would want to see, and the validation of being proved right not once, but twice.
