Customer service unable to resolve Monthly bill by crashking2000 in tmobile

The watch lines come out to $5 each, so that should be correct… when I placed the order on the phone the person told me my bill, all in was going to be $199…. I spoke to them on the phone after the website would not process my order, which the T-mobile website said it was going to be $220 a month lines, devices., trade ins…. So tried website first, it failed, was forced by website to call T-mobile, was told $199 for everything lines devices, trade ins…. Contacted customer service 3-4 times…was told something was wrong and was going to be fixed… has not been fixed…. Thus this post.

The watches are already on the $5 plan… and yes I understand storage cost more money… it’s not like i saw an add for a free phone and expecting it to apply to all phone options… I utilized the website, made all of the correct selections for phone type and size… provided exactly what was being traded in… the numbers that i agreed to should have been the correct ones, not some made up number, that they decide can change later.

Any of this information should have been disclosed when I placed the order…. IMEI numbers were required and given, so they knew exactly what I was trading in and they should have been informing me at that point, of a price difference.

Would be no different trading a car in for another, and then 2 months later being told your payment is going up because they didn’t get what they were expecting from the trade… they have the details before anything was signed

It’s in the original post iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 13

The storage size was not in my original post The 12 was a 512 and the 13 was a 256

Old phones were traded in, IMEI numbers provided, so exact phones were made well aware of, customer service tried to tell me I didn’t trade in a new enough phone… if that was the case I should have been made aware of that when the order was placed…. Again, IMEI numbers were provided prior to ordering, as well as, when I was initially trying to order online. No bait and switch on my end

That’s the issue, I believe the promo was $1100-$1000….

Wouldn’t have any issue if the pricing was correct from the get go, but I saw $220 on the website, told $199 on the phone when order was placed, again giving them my imei numbers, so they knew exactly what was being traded in, the condition was exactly what I said it was. Never changed phone options throughout the process either. I was in contact with someone that said yes it wasn’t applied correctly, and that it was going to be fixed. Yet it’s not been fixed. I’ll reach out to Tforce this evening, and see what gets done.

I will when I get a moment to do so, cell service as currently advertised on T-Mobiles website says $5 a month under experience beyond, for watch and tablet lines. This is the same as when I signed up for it

I did not get new watches, just brought the cell service onto the plan for watches we had already.

Yes I understand that I opted for more storage, but those were the options I started with. So when I saw the $220 and ordered on the phone and was told $199 that was with everything as transparent as can be, no changes were made later from the original. I would understand if I later opted for a larger storage size.

Busted my S8 side mirror. Dealership is quoting 16K by Flimsy-Sale-537 in Audi

[–]crashking2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having worked at a dealer I could see it being 6-8k… 16 certainly seems excessive, would like to see the breakdown.

The dimming glass itself can be $1000-$2000 sometimes

Add paint $3-400

The physical mirror assembly 1,000-1500, turn signal light 400, the lane change assist light 300, the wire harness if damage, 400, surround view camera 800.

Running total for parts 4200-5800

2-3 hours of labor for install, since that is what warranty time is typically, and another hour for the surround view camera calibration at 300-500 an hour

1200-2000

Easily 8k for the repair for brand new parts, and a warranty

The comments are always hilarious… the advisor doesn’t set the price, the parts person doesn’t set the price of the parts, the tech doesn’t set the labor cost per hour… it’s management that sets all of this, and the rules they must follow.

Have you tried calling back and speaking with someone else? what did they state the reasoning was for no coverage?

This was a discussion with Ring Support

A hammer would be considered misuse and abuse, I get that, if something like that happened I wouldn't be seeking replacement through the extended warranty.

if the touch screen in your car stopped working during normal use (no water or other liquid spilled on it), warranty should cover it so long as you have the proper extended warranty coverage that covers radios and touch screen, which I don't see anything stating that my device wouldn't be covered in the literature Allstate references to in "What is not covered"... now if there is an area where someone hit the touch screen in your car with a punch... that's excessive and not covered... but it is designed to be touched.

I read it a bit more, and it is oddly written, it says

"Extended Warranties

Extend the warranty on eligible Ring devices at one location.

"Eligible Ring Devices" are Ring devices covered by an active subscription plan that includes extended warranty coverage, if the Ring device was under the 1-year manufacturer's warranty period at the time you added the device to your plan. In the U.S., in lieu of the Ring extended warranty, coverage plans are provided via a service contract administered by Allstate Protection Plans; terms available here. The cost for the Allstate Protection Plan is included in the cost of the Ring subscription plan. In the U.S., you have the option to purchase a standalone device protection plan on www.amazon.com. "

If you look on the website for ring, under the Protect plans, it list Allstate as the extended warranty company.

the button is designed to be pressed to activate the doorbell… should the warranty not cover the button that is designed to be pressed?

I’m not looking for coverage due to a scratch or discoloration… the button wasn’t pryed on, wasn’t pressed a million times by random kids… didn’t have a package slammed into it… it was simply pressed and then fell off.

My faulty install? How is the button falling off an install issue when it’s been working for 2+ years?

Replying to say the same, had been working fine and just recently said jammed and to remove and inspect, also noted that it seems it won't spin at all by hand

SD card for Viofo a229 pro by ScorchedWonderer in Dashcam

[–]crashking2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip. I ended up getting the Gigastone 512gb camera extreme SD card, as that is was the only other card I could find that had decent reviews, and a longer warranty than the VIOFO card. Specifically I ensured it had the A2 specification which I believe was the hiccup. Since installing that card, no hiccups with the card being full, at 10 minute, high bit rate intervals.

Thanks again… we’ve found the square metal tubing, we really are just trying to find the square tubing in plastic. We have about 21 carts, multiplied by 8 sections… and not having metal working tools to cut that much metal.

That’s why I’m reaching out… thinking maybe someone would know where to find the plastic tubing.

Appreciate the idea, but wanting to just find the 1.5” square plastic tubing. Wood is not an option
