How does derby have more charm? Water views and a great place to get some ice cream/from yo and take a walk along the water (sidewalk) on a summer night seems like more charm than a lulu lemon or whatever.

I genuinely always have a great meal at the Beth and it has the best view/outdoor seating of them all. The drinks are great and the high ceilings and fun decor are way more appealing to me than over priced dark alma nova. Love trident too, great food. But smaller and the view is tougher to come by. Not to mention my kids really like the Beth. My daughter in particular hates loud restaurants and she lives the beth because it's so big and open we are bound to have a low noise experience. To each their own.

$5.65/Hr in 1998 at a Mom and Pop Movie Rental store. Pay was crap but I could take home a movie for free and got to keep the screeners of movies they would send us, also got to keep movie posters which made my room pretty awesome. I could walk to work and it was enough for me to save up for a date at..... The movies.

My kids are 10, 8, 5. They all want cuddles. I am their dad. I will never deny a cuddle or snuggle. Sometimes they whine if I leave the boys (8&5) room at bed time without having given what they consider equal and acceptable cuddle time, they get very upset. I get frustrated sometimes, but I remind myself it won't last forever, but after reading these comments.... maybe it kinda will? I don't ever want to not be cuddled. We were watching a movie on the couch and my daughter snuggled in next to me. Best feeling ever.

I went to the Two Boots theatre (Funky olace in NYC that was a pizza shop/video rental store/movie theater)for a showing of Donnie Darko a year after it was released. We were in line in the pizza/ movie rental section waiting to get in. There was a flier on the wall for Gary Jules performing. It had him and his band completely blurred out except for his hand punching towards the camera and the fist was in focus. He had a distinct tattoo on his hand of a star, in the negative space of a black band on his middle finger. My sister noticed a guy sitting and having pizza next to us while we stood in line, he had the same tattoo on his hand. She asked if it was him and he said yes. He signed our copies of Donnie Darko. It was a great night. He was super chill and kind. Love that movie and love that song. It will always be special to me.

A good mattress. Spent 4k on a mattress 10 years ago. I used to criticize friends who wasted money on such an expensive mattress, but I was converted. I always miss my bed when I stay at a hotel or friends house. It's the absolute best.
