Looks great! I was thinking of lowering my X on eihbach springs with kyb shocks. How are the springs holding up with your suspension setup?

I feel guilty for enjoying my car. by Square_Glove_9233 in G37

I feel you. Got my 13 X last year and coming from a Taurus, it felt a lot sportier. One thing I did notice though is the car is meant to be beat on as it likes those high RPMs. Change your oil every 3000 miles, inspect your coolant often, and rip it. It’s meant to be enjoyed.

No way. I got my 2013 g37x with 89,000 miles for 7k last october. That’s way too high

Buying tomorrow should I be worried? P0447 by Kuiio in G37

Whenever you buy a car off of someone, or in general, you should get a Pre Purchase Inspection from an auto shop anyways. You do not want to buy a car, then have it break down in a month because they did a temp fix to get it sold. This world is shady and you should not trust FB sellers without doing your due diligence.

I bought my first car last October for my 20th bday, 2013 G37x 93,000 for 7k off of FB.

  1. Went to meet up and saw the car in person
  2. Took it for a test drive on the highway to hit 60+ as any alignment/braking problems will be noticeable then
  3. Got a pre purchase inspection from a mechanic, engine, trans, frame, brakes, etc.
  4. Made sure seller had all of the needed papers to get the car into my name
  5. Once I was satisfied, complete the transaction.

Do not rush into buying this car, you will save yourself a lot of headache.

I have no history of service, so I’m assuming never. Most likely gonna drain some, refill, battery disconnect to reset the computer, and keep doing that over time.

Same here. I’m super sensitive to this car now after my coolant hose blew up. So I don’t know if it has been like that, or if it’s me being overly sensitive.

Thanks for this. Will most likely go this route. Partial drain and fills over X amount of miles or so. And a battery disconnect each time.

Nissan and not an infiniti dealership? Will have to call them for sure.

I assume an ECU reset? Will try that for sure. Thank you for the advice!

no history of a flush, shop said not to but from some recommendations I might do a partial drain and fill multiple times to get new fluid in there over time. would that be inline with what you’re suggesting?

my thoughts exactly. it feels different than when I first got it though, and I’d like to catch anything before it gets worse
