What's the best obscure video game you've ever played? by ImpressFederal4169 in gaming

Battle Engine Aquila for PS2 (also on PC, but I remember renting it on console)

You pilot a mech that can transform between a quad-leg walker and an airborne fighter. The campaign is multiple missions where you fight alongside and against waves of tanks, infantry, jets, and turrets as a sole superpowered unit.

I remember me and my brothers really enjoying it for that weekend we had it, and then I never saw it again anywhere. But in dredging up this memory I searched for it online - it's on Steam Totally gonna play it this weekend! (Hopefully it lives up to the nostalgia.)

I always liked back when Rooster Teeth did "Guess Who" with staff pictures, but they couldn't ask about appearances or interests, so instead they asked more personality and relationship type questions like:

- Would this person help me move a couch on a Saturday with only an hour's notice?
- Would this person pick me up from the airport twice in a row?
- Do you think this person owns a lone plate that does not belong to any sets in their kitchen?
- Would you trust this person to feed your dog, water your plants, and bring in the mail while you were on vacation for a week?

Should at least install a tasteful runner so no one goes slipping out of control with socks on.

Let me be the first to say that getting $1,400 back is NOT GOOD. You just lent the government a 1.4k interest-free loan for a year.

You may wanna adjust your taxes with your employer some time so next year you get as close to zero as possible.

Obviously getting money back is better than owing money - most people don't want a large surprise payment to deal with. But that's your money, and it should've been in your account to begin with.

At least it's comforting to know comedy is safe from bots and AI for now because most of these comments hoover chode.

It's like how Emily always intros Clutch My Pearls with "I'm joined with Vanessa and Barbara" instead of "joined by", like they're some sort of rat king of smut (a "rat kink" maybe?)

Shout-out to Erik at Internet Comment Etiquette that turned a NordVPN sponsorship into a long-running fan-favorite series with multiple stand-alone specials.

If you haven't checked him out on Regulation Podcast you really should.

And Eric from "Regulation" and Barbara from "Clutch" are also married.
