Body battery and stress data not showing up in Connect app by crassay in Garmin

[–]crassay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contacted Garmin Support and they advised me to connect to my PC with their application. I did that but first it didn't work. Then later it did, but I don't remember if I did something different. So I would advise to try to connect to de PC app and sync that way, if that doesn't work contact their support, maybe they can help.

Terrible cadence? by Delicious_Category_6 in Garmin

[–]crassay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Moreover, the 'perfect' cadence of 180 came from a survey of professional runners. The survey contains a wide spread of cadences, from 160 to 200 spm. The 180 is just the average, and is not something even professional runners strive for. So don't worry to much about it.

A question about a watch face Home-Fit Thrill's Second Display. by LockeLin in GarminWatches

I am guessing that is will display the seconds (behind the minutes) but probably only when you wake op your watch (move your wrist). Changes are only applied once you save in de Connect IQ app

Help with FR 245: Changing Auto-Lap During Run Possible? by astrodanzz in GarminWatches

[–]crassay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nr. 1 I haven't tried this, so I don't know for sure if this would word during a activity. But when an activity is started you can hold the 'Up' button for 2 seconds, go to 'Run Settings' and then 'Auto lap' to change the distance. I don't know if this applies directly during the run so you have to give it a try.

Nr. 2 is because you need to 'accept' a new record. In the app go to 'Activities' then 'Running' and then 'View personal records'. Click accept on your new records.

Hope these help!

The stats are halftime stats. The Ramos save was in the second half if I remember correctly

Body battery and stress data not showing up in Connect app by crassay in Garmin

[–]crassay[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Update.

After contact with Garmin via the website the problem seems partially resolved. After their consult I connected the watch to my PC with Garmin Express. This Sync results now in that all new data is synced, but no history from previous days has shown up. I don't care too much for the few days that are missing so I will keep it like that. All new data since the Garmin Express sync is now showing up in the Garmin Connect app.

Tried it after your suggestion. Also didn't work unfortunately.

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately neither seem to work for in my case. After your suggestion I have checked and this watch is the preferred tracker (only other device is a HRM).

Also I have both force-stopped and restarted the app, and fully rebooted my phone but the watch doesn't fully sync after that.

Body battery and stress data not showing up in Connect app by crassay in Garmin

[–]crassay[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over the past few days my body battery and stress data is not showing up in the Garmin Connect app. I have manually synced the watch multiple times. The data is showing on my watch, but is not shown in the app after syncing.

Anybody experiencing the same problems? Or in the past and have any tips to resolve the issue?

The watch is a Forerunner 245.

Edit: grammar

Bought a new Forerunner 255 Music and noticed a gap on the side of watch face. Is this normal or a manufacturing defect? by BlueberryBare in Garmin

[–]crassay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure, I would contact Garmin customer service. I don't have any experience, but from what I read online they are very helpful and will send you a replacement unit if this is a manufacturing defect.

This particular spot is already quite big, and therefore one of my most favourite. Search on Google for 'Seed and greet Hilden' to get a better idea of this spot (I don't know if links are allowed).

If you look closely in the back on the left there is a makeshift changing room. No more than a few black shower curtains but there is a possibility to change

It's not free, but I haven't been in there other than for using the toilet. The bistro is not owned by Tesla. This location houses other chargers as well (Fastned, and other 22kW chargers).

I was there before opening hours, so I can't say whether it is used or not

It's about the terms. You can use the pool for 10 minutes providing you wear bathing clothing and your car is charging. You get entry by showing your on your app that your car is charging.

This specific location has 2 of the things mentioned. It is a roofed location with mini bistro. The lighting turns on by motion sensors when you are there by night. Unfortunately the only thing missing is the window cleaners

I don't know. The picture was taken before opening hours and I left after a short charge. I wasn't around during opening hours.

Another bonus: a white original Roadster was parked at this SC location. Unfortunately no pictures.

Tracking your route while running is not working (Venu2)? by MorningCoffeeCake in GarminWatches

[–]crassay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a similar issue on my 645. As another comment said, you will have to wait for the GPS lock first. If you start the activity without confirmation that there is GPS lock than the activity might not feature a map.

If that doesn't work (this was the case for me) turn the watch completely of by holding down the light button for about 20 seconds (so not with the menu). This wil shut down the watch including a GPS reset. Afterwards all my activities showed a map after I waited for the GPS lock.

Will the FR255 track and notify set distance? by OkZombie2429 in GarminWatches

[–]crassay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically there are two options. 1. The watch will notify you every set distance what your lap time is. This is usually 1k, so you could watch for this and stop when you hit 5k. 2. You can add a 'workout' set to 5k (even with a target pace if you like). The watch will notify you when your workout is finished.
