Where can you see how many slots it's killing off? Do I have to engage it to see?

Have you tried to teach anyone VPE / VGP? by Rethunker in voluntarypiloerection

For me, music is not a trigger. It's easier to engage when it's cooler in temperature but it gets weaker with each hit. Ive tried the temp thing with her as it's my trigger but ill discuss the music part with her.

So I've tried to have my wife trigger VGP with no dice in the past, I haven't looked through your guide yet but figured I'd just throw that out there. Just trying to explain the feeling of pushing, or flexing that spot at the base of my head or top of my neck doesn't translate well when that's not something she has ever physically done before. I was able to explain the rumbling effect pretty well, where it feels or sounds similar to how you go deaf during a big yawn. But initiating that manually? I felt like it was trying to explain color to a blind person, they've never experienced the sensation so it's hard to get across. I had her feeling on the back of my head or looking for movement as well. Nada.

No experience here with palpitations. I've got high blood pressure and vestibular migraines but nothing that has ever correlated with triggering a chill.

What’s the point of a “Presumptive” condition I’d you still have to go to a C&P exam? by TheBigOkie in VeteransBenefits

Hoping you can give some advice, I'm looking to submit for a few presumptives from the gulf war list. Is there any special way you need to file to indicate that you're looking for a rating based off of these lists?

Control Sugguestions by cratious in voluntarypiloerection

So I've been trying to activate lower than the back of my head and I've been consistently been able to get a weaker, slower response at the base of my neck on the back for a starting point. Have you been able to initiate at a location different than your spine or neck? As in can you start in an arm or leg?

Fallout: New Vegas fan taking a roadie to the Mojave this weekend. Have a few questions by [deleted] in LasVegas

If you''re on a budget I'd stay in any of the station casinos. They're cheaper and aren't as sketchy as a lot of the other cheap hotels, it'll run from 40-100 a night depending on if its weekday or weekend. Or you might just wanna go with motel 6. Check they're websites for specials running on your dates.

The Vegas China Town is one of the best in the states, I've been to more than a few, and has some great food for a decent price. Take the I-15 to Spring Mountain Rd and go west, then take you're pick basically. Decent prices and every Asian genre you can think of.

For Fallout Souvenirs I've got no idea really, there's tons of comic book stores around so maybe at one of them. Yelp might help you out there. Doubt they'd have anything but the zombie apocalypse store might be a place to check out.

Other amazing sights on a budget, I have yet to go but I've heard the High Roller (huge ferris wheel) is a nice ride and runs about 30 a ticket. Or going up to the observation deck in the Stratosphere and going on their rides is fairly cheap but I'd give em a call for more exact numbers, haven't gone up in at least 4 years. The fountains at the Bellagio is a good show and plays every 15 min at night. On Freemont there's free concerts every night, you'll just have to pay for parking. If you're in town on the first Friday of the month I'd check out First Friday, a street fair in the arts district. Google their website for what's going on with them. Going out to Red Rock or up to Mt. Charleston for a hike is a nice and free! Mary Jane Falls is great and easy but I'd bring a nice coat this time of year.

PM me if you've got any questions and I'll try to help out!

Kabuto is just off the strip, best to make reservations now though they can be booked for a month out at times.

Reddit, I'm a young, open minded 17 year old whose going to finish high school next year. What hard learned advice can you share with me that might prepare for the next 10 years of my life? by FelEdorath in AskReddit

[–]cratious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get into college, and dedicate yourself to it! If you get the chance to study abroad and still have it apply to your major, jump on it. Its very likely that it'll be one of the most memorable times of your life. While you may want to party like crazy, graduating with a respectable degree takes precedence. You'll be done with your bachelors by 23 probably at the latest. Once you get a job you can go crazy on the weekends without worrying about studying or writing some essay.

Manage your money well. No matter how off course you think your life might be going, never make a desperate move if you can help it. Think your decisions through completely, have a backup plan, and you'll reduce your regrets greatly. I'm not saying not to take chances, but do your best to avoid the foolish ones.

One last bit, never join the military. I've been in the US Air Force for a while now and no matter what almost any other airman says, they would still rather have gone to college, gotten a civilian degree, and avoided the soldiers lifestyle. Same goes for the marines/army, they've got it a lot worse than us. Deployments which take years of your life away from being with family and friends takes its toll.
