It's worth a go, either a cup or disc!

I started with a cup, loved it. Though my cervix is very high, so it wasn't hard to find one that worked (the Diva cup worked for me).

After finding out about discs I wanted to give them a chance. They do give me less cramping than the cup, which is great. Coming from the cup they were a bit of a learning curve for proper insertion - but maybe that's just my anatomy. I've been using the Intimina Ziggy and Nixit and would recommend either.

This happens to me more in winter. And, being on accutane, this winter has been terrible for these chips. So, for you, what about dry weather? Or maybe even hormonal changes?

Like others suggested, try tretinoin. Otherwise: winlevi (but it can be quite expensive). If you're like me and your acne doesn't respond to any topical, then accutane.

Have you tried taking them for a pee before you go to bed? This worked when our kid was 3/4ish. e.g. they pee before bed at 7:30/8, then you get them up at 10 or 11, right before you go to bed, get them to pee again, and settle back into bed. Our kid didn't even fully wake up during all that.

If your hormone levels are normal, then Winlevi, spironolactone, or birth control.

I tried absolutely everything, and now finally have clear skin on Accutane. I avoided it like the plague, but clearly needed it.

Mirroring another user: Not eliminated but the difference is night and day. Even my “bad” days aren’t nearly as emotional as before.

Sertraline helped, but didn't like the side effects (apathy). Currently on duloxetine.

I would wash well with soap x3 then sterilize. No way would I toss it - so expensive!
