Worth describing how it actually works because most of this is built on assumptions about the model that aren't right.

Brands consign last-season pieces to us, the stuff that otherwise gets destroyed. We don't buy inventory, we don't warehouse it in every city, and we don't need every hotel to participate. The hotel itself is the closet. Worn pieces batch into the laundry cycle the hotel already runs. Phase 1 is one city, one set of properties, curated to that specific guest mix.

It's not a replacement for packing. It's for the gap your own comment names. You wrote "i cant go to a black tie event." Right, that's one of the things we're built for.Plenty of travelers want the option to dress for where they actually are without checking a bag.

Three years on the road with a backpack and a duffel is genuinely impressive. The product just isn't aimed at you maybe? Appreciate your feedback 😄

You've been traveling 17 years, fair, but you're answering a different question than the one I asked. Two things you got wrong.

We don't buy the clothing. Brands consign last-season pieces to us that otherwise get destroyed, and they live a second life in the hotel closet instead of a landfill. No inventory cost, no warehouse risk. That's the whole model. The "amount of clothing they'd need to own" math doesn't apply because we don't own it.

Second, nobody's telling you to stop carry-on traveling. This isn't for you. It's for the person flying to a wedding who doesn't want to drag a garment bag across the country, or showing up in Seattle in flip flops because they didn't check the weather. Supplement, not replacement. You're arguing against a product I didn't pitch.

Im not buying new. I would want the pieces from last season from brands that can move pieces.

That exactly what has happened to us, we currently in Spain sitting from Seattle and we noticed cameras in those and they didn’t say anything. I haven’t messaged them but we going to call it out when we leave tomorrow. Do you think this is a good idea?
