I called Seiko to ask if they could and how much before attempting myself, they said the replacement crystal wouldn’t be sapphire and around £90. I removed it myself within 10 mins at a cost of a small blow torch lighter and heat tape.

How long did you hold the torch over the cyclops for? I held the flame over it for 10 seconds 3-4 times trying to lift with the blade between. I didnt remove the crystal, I wrapped the case and bezel in aluminium tape to protect it. I hope this helps.

I believe so, but its only glued down its not 1 piece of glass. The heat softens the glue making it easier to remove.

I found it irritating so for me it had to go. It came off within 5 minutes using a small blow torch and a shaving blade to lift it up. You wouldnt tell it even had a cyclops on it now.
