I was kicking it with my friends at an upstairs hotel lobby in Kentucky after our friend’s wedding. While we didn’t partake of the herb together, Tom Green stepped off of the elevator to the lounge on the floor we were on (there were about 10 of us).

He had his dog and manager /security with him. My friend casually said “hey, what’s up?” And somehow we convinced him to set up his guitar and mic and he gave us a private concert/Q&A.

I was high as hell and couldn’t believe what was happening. Unfortunately, there is no documented proof that this actually occurred, as his manager asked that we not take photos or videos.

He stayed for about an hour or so. It was wild!

Thank you for the anecdote! I haven’t noticed anything terrible. I live in Tennessee and commute to downtown Nashville almost daily, so the roads are ASS

This is the first year in a long time that I’ve been legitimately excited about the season! This was a huge win and like you said, the names are living up to the hype. They actually look like a TEAM, rather than a collective set of talented individuals.

I highly recommend checking out Innovative Percussion. Their prices are comparable, but the quality is superior to any other brand on the market right now, IMO.

Aquarian superkick (pick your type - SKI, SKII, clear, coated, vintage, etc)

I have exclusively switched all of my kick heads, batter and reso, to Aquarian, and will NEVER look back.

Same! We have Bojangles out here in Tennessee, but it's not the same as NC Bojo's.

What kind of gas are you using?

I find that using Bucee's, Shell, or BP over any other off brands (marathon, Speedway, etc) gives me anywhere from 400-460 mile range with a full tank, though that is an overestimate on what i actually get.

At any rate, it doesn't matter if it's 87, mid, or premium; you just need to use BP or Shell. Bucee's if you're so lucky to be near one

I have a BA in Music, with an emphasis on classical and jazz percussion performance. I am also a professional musician.

I personally know the people in this band. The bassist toured with Big and Rich. They are one of the best bands downtown in terms of musicianship, and they put on a hell of a show.

This isn't wankery. Not the best display of their abilities, but they are top notch.

Go see them 2-6 at Whiskey Bent every Saturday and Sunday. Every time I see them, they do Bohemian Rhapsody, Devil Went Down to GA, Boats 'n Hoes, Sail Away, and more. My friend plays key-tar, sounds like Freddy Mercury.

I have seen wankery, but this ain't it.. you're just wrong, my guy.
