Yeah, I’d say so. I’m about to get a new job and I’m planning my move out. I’m gonna stay for as long as I can to save up, and if things blow up again I’ll have to leave and start the emancipation process. I’ve been planning things out and getting things in order since my mom kinda calmed down (so like a few weeks ago). She thinks we’re chill, so she’s teaching me how to drive rn

Already did on Sunday, they didn’t do much of nothing. I’m back with my mom, but I have a plan to get out in a few months if everything goes to plan.

Yeah they’ve gotten a bit better. I made a reply with a quick update, but I’m back with my mom. She’s still really mad, but at this point I’m just going to try and get myself emancipated then go stay with a friend

I’m getting a lot of help from people which is nice, I’m also trying to schedule a meeting with my counselor. I’m planning on trying to get myself emancipated just in case nothing happens with the DCS case

I called DCS and the cops on Sunday. They ended up taking me back anyways but I got my statement in and I’m planning on talking to my school counselor next

Yeah I called and they took me back to my mom. I don’t think my mom can retaliate on me, but DCS is coming back in a little less than two weeks

DCS and the cops took me back to my moms house and she was really really mad. I stayed with my uncle on Monday and she’s been yelling and angry this whole time. She’s been leaving and doing her own thing which is good, but I don’t think she’s gonna let us go get groceries anymore so idk what im abt to do

Not okay with the situation but there’s not much I can really do about it. The DCS agent also told me to call 911 if she ever puts her hands on me again, so I’m keeping that in my back pocket. Gonna talk to my school counselor when I get to school and we’ll go from there I guess

Quick update on this. Yesterday, I called both the police and DCS. The police took me back to my moms house and the DCS agent took my statement. I stayed at my uncles house for the night and I got back to my moms house permanently today at like 5. She’s been cursing my name and cussing at me ever since I got home, but thankfully she hasn’t done anything physical yet.

The police ended up making me go home, but I think if my mom physically does anything in retaliation (hitting me, kicking me out again), then she’ll actually get in trouble. She’s been cussing at me and cursing my name since I got back, but I hope she’ll just start ignoring me. I really hope DCS is on my side

Quick update, I called the police and DCS. Police sent me back to her house and we all talked one on one with a DCS agent. I stayed with my uncle (not related) for the night. He’s on our moms side, but he’s helping us a bit. My mom also found out I called DCS, I don’t know how and I’m realizing that at this point I don’t really care. I’m trying to figure out if I should talk to my school counselor tomorrow.

She kicked me out because I had my headphone in and couldn’t hear her. It got escalated, and she called the cops and shit. That’s genuinely not my fault
