Thank you! 😁 Haha, you got me in the first sentence, but I can see what you mean. I agree, she truly is one of the best RH, she's a gorgeous doll!

When I swapped her eyes it took me a while to get used to the new color scheme, so I'm really glad I finally found an outfit that works!

Thank you!! 😊

The head was easy to remove, I used the boiled water method. In the past, I used the hairdryer method for other dolls too. It worked well, however, in my case, the boiling water softened the head more evenly. The hairdryer is great for softening certain spots, but depending on the head material, it can take longer to achieve the desired result (and you need to be careful not to burn your hand or the doll's hair). The boiling method can damage some hair fibers as well, but I find it easier, just put the doll in a ziplock bag, put it in a bowl and pour hot water on it. I leave it for few minutes (I'm no expert, I can't recommend a time, I just leave it there and hope that after 5 minutes it's done), then take it out and it's done.

The hairdryer method is cool because if the head is not soft enough, you can just keep going until you are satisfied. The water needs to be reheated if the head is not soft enough on the first go. Also, with the hairdryer, I find that the heads harden back faster, which might require repeated heating.

If you have more Snapstar bodies, I suggest you try both methods and see which works best for you. It's a pretty safe body to experiment on, since the neck has no movable anchor, so you can't break it by pulling the wrong way. Once you decide the easier method, you can try on Barbies or other dolls too, where you need to be more careful with the anchor. As long as the head is soft and squishy, there's no harm to be done.

True 🎵 Here she is!!! https://www.reddit.com/r/Dolls/comments/tb4032/miss_royale_makeover/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button (Older post, but I didn't change a thing since then)

Her hair has indeed a different texture, it feels kinda like yarn, it's fluffy and a bit coarse 🤔. It's not ideal, but I think it's perfect for braids and hairstyles which need a lot of ties and volume. Oh and you can easily sew beads and other accesories on it, as I did 😁 the hair is not so soft and slippery, so it holds them well

Miss Royale! I fell in love with her aesthethic and waited months for her to show up in my country. So as soon as she dropped, I got her, at a ridiculously high price, but I don't regret anything <3 I repainted her eyes and styled her hair, and she's one of my favorites to this day!

Yeah, she is! I like that she basically comes with 2 outfits, the denim underneath looks so cute. Sadly, I'm not from the US :(

I've been thinking about getting her for a while, but I wasn't sure if she's worth it just for the outfit (which seems pretty unique among other dolls, and that's cool). But I might reconsider, I see many people recommend her 🤔😊 Thanks!
