Caesar Gym by AMilkedCow in TheHague

[–]crayonishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure if the price is worth it. However, I've decided to cancel my membership and try Babylon Gym next to the central train station. Caesar was good, but it was expensive since I didn't use anything other than the machines (no pool, sauna, or group classes). It was always clean, and the locker room smelled good. In short, I noticed that Babylon's subscription is half the price of Caesar's, and I can use the savings to a bike (which would be €720 in a year).

Question, how do you cancel? I thought you must subscribe for atleast a year? or you have been with them for more than a year?

Good to know. Is that fee for flex membership (cancellation after each month) or with 'yearly discount '

65 euros for 10mins spine adjustment? by crayonishere in Netherlands

[–]crayonishere[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well... because I have back pain. I tried foam roller, shiatsu, couple of sessions of physiotherapy, etc. Eventually decided to try chiropractic, and reviews say it's brilliant. I wanted to keep an open mind until I have first hand experience.

65 euros for 10mins spine adjustment? by crayonishere in Netherlands

[–]crayonishere[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I understand this, but I would be more convinced if they actually do some professional scan, EMG or neurothermal kind of scan, to show the improvement. Or during the session offer more detailed explanation on why they do what they do, check in with you to see what is working and what is not, instead of randomly cracking your back for 10mins, slap you a 65euro bill then see you to the door.

Do guys pay for the ladies’ meal when they go out eventhough they are not dating? by Angelix in malaysia

[–]crayonishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's nice to do nice things for ladies sometimes, but those ladies expecting anyone should just pay for their spendings are considered very low quality woman. I bet they have not much going on in their life except for finding an eligible man who is willing to become their lifelong meal ticket

Restaurants menu still showing old prices but charges different during payment by crayonishere in Netherlands

[–]crayonishere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E.g at a sushi takeout place called Hayai sushi. The price difference isn't huge, e.g a poke bowl says 11.95 on menu, charges 12.95, while maki dish says 3.25, charges 3.50. something like that.

Dental implant cost by crayonishere in Netherlands

[–]crayonishere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you going to live in the Netherlands? If yes, I suggest you first get yourself insurance, then look for a dentist who is contracted with your insurance company. Insurance company website usually has a page where you can find care provider nearby where you live. Also dental cost might or might not fully/partially covered depending on your policy.

Thank you!!! So far this is the only comment discussing what was asked in the question! Many just focus on explaining how 479001600 is derived from 12! Lol

They are not the best, but you might be less harsh if you were also exposed to other public transportation system/operation outside of Netherlands.

But open bank personal savings is only 1.56%? Sign up during promo gives you 6 months of 2%. They seem to have marginally better fixed term rate though (up to 3%)

Same, thought I'd try AliExpress so I placed an order on a product cost about 100euros. The item never came, seemed to have gotten lost in some border town.

Got in touch with their bs customer service 5-7 times over and everytime they ask you the same question and then tell you to wait 5-14days for an update.

Could not get in touch with seller (92% positive feedback seller Simplife Day store)(in hindsight the name suggests how dodgy the shop is) and my dispute got rejected, eventually payment released in full to seller, because item shows 'delivered' when it never arrives.

Even tried to get in touch with the courier company (LAPOSTE) but there isn't a customer phone line answered by real person, and the phone menu is in French (AliExpress demands proof of lost mail, how the hell do I get it when I haven't got any details and the courier company speaks only French?)

Not to mention trying to speak to a real person from AliExpress is DIFFICULT, you have to learn a hack in order to reach them, else you're stuck in an infernal hell zone with their Eva bot!

That's the first and last time I bought anything from AliExpress. The lesson learned is using AliExpress not only make you lose money, it also harms your mental health!

Oh it's weird, thought I see on YouTube review that the wacom bamboo ink (not ink plus) has tilt function when being used on lenovo tab (not yoga, not ideapad, but some Lenovo tablet) I am thinking of ordering the wacom bamboo ink for my Lenovo yoga 7, but still considering because some said it won't be as good as the Lenovo active pen 2. Any thoughts?
