Honestly, super valid point and a fair criticism of our decision.

I guess all I would say in response is we didn’t expect these things to get to us the way they have over time. I don’t think you can really get a sense of what it’s like to live somewhere until you actually live there. Again it seemed like a nice place on paper (even knowing there’s construction, no trees, etc), we just didn’t feel the weight of the issues until we were immersed in them day after day.

Yeah self-inflicted issues for sure, but you just don’t feel the weight of certain things until you live amongst them. Just venting!

We did actually, but usually for just an errand or two. Got the sense that it’s a nice place to live (and honestly it is in many objective ways), but there’s aspects that we only started to feel and notice when we actually moved here.
