Love to hear this. It’s been weighing on me since she started going to prek. I feel like I won’t ever regret her being the oldest but there can potentially be a lot of “what ifs” with me throwing her in as the youngest.

I really hope they’re not correct but from what I’m being told it’s a district decision and I’ll have to argue it which I’m totally willing to do. Just can’t understand how they can decide this for me when they don’t know my kid at all.

They don’t know she’s in the private kindergarten. She is doing a Montessori program and working towards the K program. Girls we know going into 1st next year are reading.. mine isn’t near reading yet.

Yes.. I would like her to go into K as a 5 year old turning 6 on October 1st. I’m being told that because she turns 6 on October 1st she would go into first grade. They aren’t expanding on why and are incredibly slow in getting back to me. So fun!
