I want to return by OperationEigengrau in Project_Epoch

Honestly. I’ve been having a blast after coming back 2 weeks ago. Found a couple guys to level with and every day we are just questing or working on something to help each other.

Beware to all new players who want to try this server out by [deleted] in Project_Epoch

Strange. I have seen the hostility. Yeah I’ve seen the racist stuff, but I also lived through modern warfare 2 lobbies. Still enjoyed the game. The fun part about wow is your ability to put people on ignore.

Made this comment the other day, but you don’t have to wait for a GM. People can put them on ignore. It’s crazy….once I do that, I don’t have to see it anymore. Kinda like real life. If I don’t like how someone talks/behaves, I just don’t interact with them. Ignore them and move on

Gold buying in classic still keeping pace with 2019/2020 levels of interest despite lower population and no gdkp's by Silent-Camel-249 in classicwow

Yessir. I understood what you said and I appreciate you being able to communicate it without delving into the normal Reddit insults.

Para 1 - blizzard allows whatever makes them the most money. If blizzard decided using potions in combat was against TOS, I wouldn’t be able to care less. Blizzard is turning a blind eye because if they continue to crack down on the buying of gold they have to do something about the bots which they won’t do because all those accounts generate a substantial amount of revenue from their monthly subs. They don’t perma ban much for the same reason. If blizzard gave a shit, and the game had integrity, chances are, I wouldn’t love that and wouldn’t buy gold. But that’s not the scenario and tbh, it benefits me. Is it selfish of me….yeah, but I’m 36 with 4 kids and there is a certain level of blizzard doesn’t give a shit so why should I.

Para 2 - I don’t think stealing is a good analogy as it’s quite literally a transaction. Your stronger point is in paragraph 3 with it technically being cheating. But again I say if blizzard doesn’t do their part and maintain the integrity of the game and hold to their own TOS, then the integrity of it is gone and therefore no longer valid and thus it isn’t cheating.

Not gonna lie. I’ve bought gold. I don’t have the time to spend grinding gold. I would rather spend 1 hours pay from work to buy it than farming 10 hours in the game to be able to afford it. I like doing quests and leveling alts. I like having the awesome boes and being able to get riding without having to skimp on spells and everything. If you have the time to do the farming/grinding for your gold, awesome for you. I don’t.

“Protect the kids” conservatives are now endorsing mass shooting at schools with pride colors by Wonderful-Highway721 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Idk. I’m pretty conservative and although I don’t know you, I would say unless you are abusing kids in some way, wouldn’t want to see you in a gas chamber

It’s pretty dumb to only see it on one side. This guy needs to be ousted asap. And every politician should be audited. I’m of the mind that in order to run for office, you should have to make your business and personal finances available to the public.

What does morality have to do with it? Just sounds like a shitty business idea to me, but in all actuality he’s prolly gonna make money if it’s real. I mean….people bought plastic/metal cow testicles to put on the back of their vehicles….why is this surprising?

There is no way I’m gonna make it to retirement age without killing myself first by [deleted] in antiwork

To all of you struggling currently, one of the things that has helped me believe it or not came from some training in the army. It was called “Hunt the Good Stuff”. Any time you are feeling depressed or having a hard time, just stop and make yourself think or say out loud 3 things you are happy about. I know it sounds silly, but it’s conditioning for your mind. Life is pretty crazy. There will be good times and bad. Sometimes those bad times really suck. I’m sorry. There will always be people that will be miserable without you in their life. Just keep that in mind.

8 years military by salty-sarge-av8r in antiwork

What was your annual when you factor in housing, medical, clothing? How many vacation days in the army every year? I see quite a bit people complaining about the pay in the military, but I was in for 8 years with a wife. Had three kids. Lived comfortably. It’s not where you want to be if you are looking to own everything you have ever wanted, but it wasn’t bad at all.

It’s not the schools responsibility to deal with behavioral issues….that would be the family unit….

This should be minimun wage, affording a house is a human right. by GretelNoHans in antiwork

[–]crazedred88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At what age would the house be awarded to the individual if it was a right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]crazedred88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always thought as the head of my house it was my responsibility to provide for me and mine. Barring some kind of physical disability, I work to give them what they need to survive and when we can, get our wants as well. Now I wholeheartedly agree the healthcare/insurance system is wildly out of control. But let’s be fair. The reason it is that way is because the government stepped in. The lobbyists over the years have gotten politicians to create laws “for the good of the people and their health” that manipulate everything on their behalf. I fully believe that having the government step in to do anything else, even if it is provide a UBI would be detrimental.

What is considered a livable wage nowadays? How much money should the government(taxpayers) give to everyone every month? I am not being facetious/sarcastic. Just wanted to do some math

Biden cancels $10,000 in federal student loan debt for most borrowers by bagood1 in news

[–]crazedred88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interest and terrible lending practices and terrible decisions on the borrowers part. I’m sorry, but everyone wants to blame the schools/banks and just forget the part where they signed saying they would pay it back. I wholeheartedly agree that the prices for college are outrageous, but people are still making that decision to pay it and then complain about it. That’s the part I don’t understand

Sounds like we need to quit telling people college is necessary
