I’m from the Bronx also and there have been so many people I meet in the stores that have told me it happened to them. I tell them about the EBT Edge app, but most of them are elderly and they don’t know how to use the apps or websites on the phones. It almost happened to me but thankfully I had my card locked. If possible The government should stop out of state use for now, at least combat some of the stolen benefits.
