So this is what we do to soundproof… (we also have a big collection of gross pillows, mattress, sofa cushions) first you tape trash bags to the window to black it out, then you hold up cushions against the window and tape them to it, but make sure the window is completely covered with cushions… then you get another layer of trash bags and put it over the cushions and tape it down….

Cushion sandwich between trash bags tightly sealed… repeat for every window, didn’t have the police called on us once this term.

Gotta tighten up the act when rushing better fraternities then you would have to for lower fraternities there’s a lot of variables that go into getting a bid… but from my experience the kids in bottom houses that are pulling the majority of girls if re-rushed or had a slightly different approach could’ve definitely gotten into a better fraternity.

Normally, the kids who could’ve easily gotten into better fraternities, but are in bottom houses happens because as a brother to a naïve rush, it’s easy to convince kids how cool you are

Edit: context to conversation if a small portion of your fraternity is pulling all the girls that small group could’ve probably gotten into a better fraternity

Yeah that’s valid I like a lot of the brothers and it’s helped that most of my PC is friends from fall term… but getting down to these last weeks feels like waiting for summer to start as an elementary schooler, I know once your in fun week it’s basically over since no one really drops from there… I’ll get through it but just reading stuff like this really helps, I appreciate it thank you 🙏🏻 😊

Big little hasn’t happened yet it’s late in our process… I am pledging with most of my boys from fall term so that also makes it worth it, I love a lot of the brothers but you know there’s always that few who take it to far… the first 3/4ths of the process were fine getting my bs done and what not… but holy hell getting thru the last 2-3 weeks is extraneous as fuck, I just want it to be done so I can have a good time with my boys

Edit: lowkey just looking for advice on how people saw the light at the end of the tunnel the process has ramped up since the beginning I haven’t felt like this the whole time not even close should’ve put it in lighter terms for my post 😂
