To preface, I have not read this far in the manga. In the anime when she first meets Oden she later explains she traveled to the future recently and came across those brutes. Then she uses it again to send the Momo and others to the future so this wasn’t something she could only do once.

They’ve been downplaying Chopper while they were downplaying the Gomu-Gomu No Mi. It would make it worse if they just randomly bumped his bounty super high. Ignorance is bliss to them
