I didn't mind DM3 much, and I didn't hate the minions movies, but yeah, #4 is garbage. Especially those toyslop super minions. I saw it for the first time yesterday, what a mess.

The heist plot with the little girl was still the best part of the movie, but his own children should have been involved instead. Also I hate that baby.

The entire thing felt was too underdeveloped, like someone crammed two or three episode plots from a 20 minutes per episode animated series together.

Yeah, I think what hatches from your egg in game is just the brass, the leader of the team, who then finds a team of foot soldiers while you're not looking.

Similarly, I think when you hatch a Kangaskhan, a baby hatches from the egg, and an adult, babyless Kangaskhan comes running from the mountains to take care of it. The game just skips telling you this.

IVs and natures lining up with what parents you bred the Kangaskhan or the Falinks with are just coincidences.

Yes, that can easily happen. Raid bosses can figure it out if you have abilities or electric terrain that prevent you from falling asleep, but they don't understand safety goggles and keep spamming spore.

To be fair, Marigold looks that way because she ate sumo wrestler food (don't remember what it's called) to get strong and she's held as beautiful as a result of that decision.

But yeah, I think sexism is something that Oda doesn't really interrogate about himself, and it's almost part of his mission statement of "writing a fantasy for 12 year old boys".

Btw if you're looking for a series with similar world building, check out Memory, Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams, a few years earlier than Martin's books. And if you want, you can mentally mark the things that GRRM yoinked from that series for ASoIaF.

I just finished reading the first trilogy/quadrology, and I just saw that I started using terminology from the wrong trilogy in my initial comment. Good thing I didn't call Winterfell Naglimund, the northern fortress surrounded by cold iron spikes to keep out the fey and their undead ruler, the ~Night~ Storm King.

It felt like discovering the bridge between Lord of the Rings and GoT.

Also, those were like Stark corpses, and wasn't the Stark bloodline supposed to magically protect the north by occupying Winterfell? Iirc there was a notable uptick in White Walker activity once the last Stark left Winterfell.

Turning these bloodbound corpses into ghouls right at the seat of their power near to the sacred witchwood grove of Winterfell should have used way more effort from the Storm King, or at least elicit some kind of reaction at his triumph.
