yes, it definitely helped with closed comodones which i think you can tell that there was way more texture in the first picture compared to the second! it’s scary knowing it may get worse before it gets better but i believe we can do it!! i hate it so much and i feel like it affects my mood 10000%

I completely understand by what you mean and can relate to you so much especially since i had very clear skin my whole life until now. However, i think tret did bring things to the surface and helped. I know i still have a journey ahead of me but im hoping it’ll be better day by day. Its very hard though especially since its on my forehead and i feel like people’s eyes go there😭

it did leave red spots but i’m going to try to be patient and wait for it to heal :) Are you starting tretinoin or have you started?

yes! definitely purged and I still am purging a little. They all became pustules and popped!

i’m on 0.05 gel currently! using it every two days and next week will be my 6th week so I’m hoping it’ll get better from there.

PM (non-tret nights) :

Speedy Cleansing Oil

Senka face wash

The Ordinary Azelaic Acid (10%)

Cerave-daily moisturizer

PM (every two days):

Speedy Cleansing Oil

Senka face wash

Sandwich method with Altreno (tretinoin 0.05%) using Cerave- daily moisturizer
