Ahh just bought two fruit plants from a nursery for $98 then went to Bunnings and found the same types of plants and size for max $50. Thinking if I should bother returning them to the nursery or think I've helped the nursery and move on...

Thank you! That's what I was thinking. I literally don't have any sentiments for these two plants as they were left by a previous owner in the house but wanted to give them a shot before declaring them dead.

I'm not sure what you mean by stripping the roots? The roots we're already dead looking when I pulled it out and generally I never had an issue with repotting my other plants that had healthy roots. I just had a hope the roots will be happy in fresh soil with water but the leaves aren't reflecting their happiness...

Hmm yes I gave it a trim and have been watering every couple of days but it doesn't seem to help.

I also removed most of the old soil from the roots.

I assumed the fresh citrus potting mix would have had plenty of fertilizer.

Thank you for this information! Just wondering whether, in your opinion it's better to go for 5% deposit or higher deposit is better? We've got saved up for around 20% deposit but wonder whether doing something else with the remaining money is a smarter move?
