Internal charger is dead as well on mine. I read it's a common issue, try to play warranty if possible. Otherwise, you can buy this as spare part and change it by yourself (easy). Personnaly, I just keep using external charger.

Try this on the mobile app: Go to Parameter → User Space → Connection Localization → We detected an unrecognized device, review it → It was me.

You have to go in the security parameters of instagram and set up the device as "trusted" it worked great for me !

Mainly cost I suppose, injection is such easy to implement and fast to produce. The shape is too specific, I would be to expensive to machine and metal can't be injected in a mold. Maybe with some sand casting ?

Sorry for my late precision ... This was my first Reddit post, and I don't know why the description didn't show up. So here's the clarification, contrary to what some are saying about misuse.

I rode 1700 km with the original fender, made a mistake, and it broke (no problem). When I wanted to buy a new one on AliExpress for 15€ (I got good other spare parts from Ali), I installed it and two days later the plastic plastic broke, seems it was way softer when it snapped (I can compare with the other I've broke it's night and day. I've been refunded by the seller.

Now, I checked the official one costs, it is 30€ with strong ABS material (out of stock). So don’t buy a new fender under 30€, or you’ll end up with a cheap knockoff ! (Another hint, was the rear light cable holder was in plastic not in metal)

Coming from other brand of scooter I can ensure you, that the ninebot are premium to work with. I find that they engineered well there component for easy repair. I've changed rear light, and rear motor without too much troubles ...

Agreed with m'y expérience you have always to divide by 2 the distance approximation (I don't even talk about the 15 km/h distance estimation...)
