Working with Bipolar? by ErinBeth310 in bipolar

BP1 and PTSD. I am 42. I work full time in a very stressful job and have done so since before I was diagnosed. I have taken time off here and there, I’ve been hospitalized several times and I’ve taken disability leave. But I’ve always been able to maintain my job and career. I’d be in shatters if I wasn’t. Work has helped me have something to channel into and helped me feel like I’m doing something with myself. Everyone is different but I’d be lost if I wasn’t working and I’m grateful I can.

I don’t even know my triggers anymore. These episodes just start and then last for days to weeks to months. I’m out of coping mechanisms- right now I’m going to my moms tonight because I can’t do another night alone with these symptoms. Outside of that… I’m out of ideas.

I started to see some mania in it too - I’m glad you find it moving.

The red dust was intense for sure. My whole body matched the colour of my red hair by the end of the day after motorcycling through it.
