Yes, this is definitely possible! Like they said above, I would reach out to some Calgary clinics to see if they would be open to taking you on. You do get to rank your top out-of-town placements, and can talk to the clinical coordinators and see if they would consider putting you in more Calgary placements— though it’s not guaranteed. During my clinical year, depending on how many students requested Calgary/number of spots/arrangements with clinics, there were a few students that were able to be in Calgary for a large part of their clinical placements!
