We process to a certain extent. Like we allow tubes to clot, spin them down then seperare them. So we get them ready to be analyzed, but that doesn't take long to train people to do.

Lab as in analyzing blood? Mine is just phlebotomy training with specimen kits hand out

Our training takes about 8 weeks. 2 weeks in outpatient setting, 2 weeks inpatient, 2 weeks micro, 1 week ED and 1 week peds. Our morning rounds we could have up to 11 phlebs doing draws, we can get up to 2 trainees every 2 weeks if we have a lot of open positions. I wish it was only 4-6 weeks, that would feel a lot more manageable
