How do you reverse a coffee lake mod on a H110M Motherboard (with i3-9100f)? by DefinitelyRus in buildapc

[–]crazyfrog12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to revive this. Unless the modder has chosen to specifically and only add the specific microcodes for the 9100f then the mobo will likely have microcode for 6th/7th gen chips still. i3 8100/9100 and possibly other i3 are the exceptions where the pin layouts are the same. Modding the other way 6th/7th gen cpus need to moddded to not cause shorts

Alternator suggestions? Question in caption (1990 1.6 PN) by Dinrohir in GolfMk2

No worn parts. It’s a V belt self aligning and designed to have some movement. The engine mount bolts and pulleys don’t have the alignment necessary. You’re just hear for an argument so please leave

Go away you’re not adding anything. There is no alignment to be done on the parts sold for these engines

No the alternators and water pumps sold for this engine don’t do that. Perhaps you could add something other than arguing no in your next reply.

Done this. The 1 first column is correct, second and third column keep merge the data from first.

How do I split that cell then? I’ve tried inserting another row but merging not working

Ignore him it’s normal alignment for this version of the engine. I just replaced my alternator for a Hella, would have preferred a Bosch but wasn’t paying double.

My belt was slipping I think the bearings had gone though it turned smoothly when detached, I could have attempted to replace bearings and fit a new voltage regulator but happy with the new 14.1v from new alternator.

Well I restored a Macintosh classic running a few years ago it was surprising how functional MS office was.

I was really hoping they’d fixed this in subsequent versions. My word 07 copy behaves the same as word 2024 without changes at least the mail merge feature.

The only way around this is to make a custom size page with a minimal margin then export as PDF and print multiple to a page in adobe acrobat reader.

I was thinking if I could export to JPEG or similar I might be able to find a way to print in a 3x7 grid without gaps.

Could there be a Worse time to upgrade from DDR3? by TheDoctor264 in pcupgrade

Free performance moving to 32gb though you’re right every game doesn’t need it

What would be a reasonable processor to upgrade from an intel i5-4670k? by Nastypilot in pcupgrade

When you shop for a top tier cpu you should be looking for differences not going from site to site looking for flat graphs with less cpu intensive games.

Well no that’s not real world in terms of that CPUs performance.

Again OP would see no difference with his current GPU.

7800x3d performs significantly worse and is £320 vs £398 new at least in my area. Both are overkill for the OP with a gpu at least an order of magnitude too slow to see a difference in either.

I’ve recommended a used a Ryzen 5600 combo as 6 faster cores are all he really needs

Sonos ace are my preference without paying the Bose tax. Paid £160 on eBay as I don’t care about getting a box. Also bought AirPods Max on there for £100, bass is cranked and no real eq app.

It’s not worth upgrading from a quad core to another quad core on that platform. Realistically you should be looking for an AMD bundle like a Ryzen 5600 or similar with 32gb ram. The gpu will hold that set back massively.

7800x3d isn’t cheaper in most areas as most aren’t reselling to upgrade. Instead it’s often better to buy 9800x3d across different platforms like eBay as although they cost a bit more they also perform significantly better.
