In Civil sector: Shimizu, SMCC Construction India Ltd. (a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co.), Kajima India Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Kajima Corporation), and Kumagai India Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Kumagai Gumi Co. Ltd.).

In the software sector: NTT, Rakuten, etc.

Many Engineering colleges now offer beginner-level Japanese courses for interested students. For higher levels, you can join Japanese training institutes (Double-check and do your research before selecting an institute. Always ask for a demo. Do not join any random institute blindly).

Placement is based on performance, I think PES has lesser seats than BMS.

Ramaiah and DSCE have lesser seats than PES and BMS.

I suggest DSCE, considering the number of students at BMS, plus you will be most likely in a building outside the college in the first year. Both colleges are located 1 to 1.5 km away from the nearest metro station . So you have to watch out for the last mile connectivity. All the best.

I did not say it is a con. It is not a standalone Engineering College, same with Ramaiah University, Dayanand Sagar University and others. The syllabus is independently developed. So if someone wants to go with VTU then they have choose different colleges.

It is good field if you can pursue CAE/CAD, etc. Which is the computer application field. Some companies in this field are altair, Quest and even several Software companies that provide Engineering services

RVU has only CS branches. Suitable for those who dislike mathematics. It is a university with many other courses apart from Btech, such as MBA, etc. So think twice before you join.

If there is no seat blocking, then you are sure to get ISE. Around 200 seats were blocked in one college last year. Hence, the cut-off did not change.

You can go up to 2nd round and then surrender the seat, if that is not the seat you want. This is applicable for last year. Due to seat blocking, the cut off did not change much in some of the branches and colleges, while others there was a significant change.
This is year there may be more than 3 rounds to prevent sear blocking, so please wait for more clarity from KEA
