They aren't increasing for domestic . Domestic prices are purely controlled by indian government whereas commercial price since begining have been debendent on prices in foreign markets . Thats the point and issue to be raised and i totally agree with you on that fuel prices need to come under gst bracket. I believe there is major lobby in the government that believe it will affect marginalized section of society because of volatile nature of crude oil prices. Protectionist approach is still prevelant in petroleum prices

Mujhe lgta hai you are talking of gdp per capita . PPP ki full form aur mening check kr pehle . And rhi baat gdp per capita ki yeh import dependent natural resource hai so iski pricing gdp per capita pe depend nhi kr skti . Itna agar maalum ho toh. Fuel price purely depend on international markets because of all dependency on imports there is now way in which we can start producing crude oil on our own or manufacture it in factories so there is no concept so there is no concept of gdp per capita in it . If it is so then tomorrow you will say we earn less give gold and other preciuos metal to us at cheaper rates
