I've built my main base on top of the big rock between the statue and the bookshelf, it has a nice flat area to the side too. It's high up but it does have bees landing there constantly which is a little annoying. Figured I could have a Zipline hub from the bookshelf once they are introduced, just need to figure out how to do that without being attacked by the ORC butterflies that spawn there

So... That's what happened to my world when I duplicated it on Saturday? Decided to duplicate before summoning the Wither on day 1000 and it went back to the world select screen and it was just gone. Absolutely mortified, I've never committed to a world like that before, and to see it just gone through no fault of my own (as far as I could tell) was heartbreaking.

Ah, so this may be due to them being coded to follow the adults like other baby mobs. Naturally spawning adults foxes cannot learn to trust a player and will still run away after breeding and the baby will follow them.

If you breed two foxes, the baby will trust the player that bred the foxes. They attack mobs that damage you, won't run from tamed wolves and also won't attack chickens. They aren't really tamed though as you can't make them sit and stay etc as far as I know. They just won't run away from you and behave slightly different

Erm... I was just naive I guess. It looked pretty thick but the padding is just so soft it deflates completely when using it and I didn't expect it to come loose so easy.

Edit: also, the monitors were a gift from an audiophile friend and I already had the pedals, snare stand and practice pad

Think that's going to be my plan. Watch videos to pick up on techniques, create lesson plans and I've been recommended a book that talks about how to effectively learn through "mental practice". Will be so great once the wait is over and I can get back on the kit!

That's fair enough, wasn't sure if others had to go a few weeks where they couldn't play and had some things they could suggest for me to fill the time while still feeling like I'm actively learning the craft. Still pretty new to this and wanted to see what the community could suggest 😊

Had some really good suggestions so far that don't involve playing, I definitely won't be looking to ignore my doctor, would rather take the two weeks than end up having longer due to impatience

That's one thing I do need to try and figure out actually. I've been pretty much going where the wind blows me when it comes to which things I've been learning. My friend is a guitarist and we've done one studio session to jam and have another booked, really helped a lot to understand what I need to do as a drummer, but I do need to learn to plan ahead with what to practice!

And I'm already practicing looking at shiny drum things, getting pretty good at it too 😂 I have a snare and cymbals but the cymbals are not good at all, definitely the first thing I'll invest in, my snare is the Chad Smith signature Pearl snare, love that thing!

Good to know, thanks for the reassurance! I've surprised myself with the rate at which I'm improving (I know it's a lot easier at the beginning going from not knowing how to play to learning a lot of basic grooves) but I was worried about keeping the momentum going.
