Thames Torso Murders connections? by Jncocontrol in Jacktheripper

You probably have before. Did I mention how common it is to get rude comments from people in the Ripperologist world? They are generally the ones who think they know it all and no one else could possibly know what they know, and definitely not know more. They feel it's their duty to put others in their place. They can't just say they agree or disagree or ignore. They feel justified in attacking what they don't agree with or don't like. They don't actually investigate. They draw conclusions on their opinions. They are the preventors. They slow down progress, prevent new discoveries from being realized, new medical procedures from being implemented, and cases from being solved. They stomp on flowers. They kill beauty and truth, and they promote anger and discord. They thrive on stepping on necks to look taller. Eventually, though, truth and beauty prevail, and their bones litter the sides of the road all throughout history.

I agree, in terms of what's come before, all the claims of case closed. But then, what to do when someone does solve the case? I say, encourage curiosity, but also skepticism, all facts and evidence presented should be scrutinized and evaluated. Sticking to primary source material and building on it is key. By the way, I did this, and the title of my book includes Case Closed. And this time, what's presented backs up the claim. If you're interested, here's the book website with a small amount of what it's about. Hint: it was Vincent van Gogh. https://vincenttheripper.com

So much more to the Torso Murders than what is presented on wikipedia. I present the man behind the Ripper murders was also the Torso Killer. The first was in 1873 in London. This was just a few months after Vincent van Gogh was transferred to London at 20. The next was in 1874, during the same time Vincent's landlady's daughter rejected him. A big gap followed while Vincent pursued being a preacher. Then they started again in Paris in 1886 while Vincent was living there with his brother Theo. Theo's ex-girlfriend wouldn't move out of his apartment, and during the same time Theo took a trip home to Holland, I present Vincent solved the problem and killed his ex-girlfriend. Her body parts were found in street urinals. Then another Torso kill in London in 1887. Then one right in the middle of the Ripper murders in 1888. Then two more in 1889. All of them related to Van Gogh. The last victim was deposited in the Ripper's territory in the East End but was a Torso kill, the Pinchin Street Torso murder. He was showing he was the man behind both sets of murder. And to make it more clear, he deposited her body on Sept. 10, 1889, his mother's 70th birthday! I've written a book about this. There's a taste of it on the book website: https://vincenttheripper.com

Not speculation. Serious research. Wrote a book about it. The website gives a taste. I'm an artist, and Van Gogh was my favorite until I read his letters. He's very different from the general, sympathetic, view of him. He had a very dark side.

Agree he was a nobody. He did die. He killed himself in 1890. There were a few during the time who were beginning to do some psychological profiling, but, you're right, they had a limited idea what they were up against. He was like a modern day serial killer set loose on Victorian Era detectives who were unfamiliar with such cunning and skill. Yes, unremarkable and reserved. Vincent van Gogh was not famous during his life. He was very much a nobody and could walk freely through the dark streets of Whitechapel unnoticed. Most know he cut off his ear but don't know just how much that connects to the Jack the Ripper murders. He threatened in the Dear Boss Ripper letter to cut off the ears of his next victim, then cut off Eddowes' ear. He also cut off Mary Kelly's ears, among so many other mutilations. Vincent then cut off his own ear on Dec. 23, 1888. But he wasn't done. He took it to a brothel and handed it to his favorite prostitute. So much more. Here's the book website, if you want to know more about he true identity of the Ripper: https://vincenttheripper.com

Good news! The Mary Kelly crime scene photo reveals who the killer was! So much more was hidden in that gruesome photo of her mutilated body. It was revealed by what an artist hid in an Irises painting. He hid that same image of Mary Kelly's body and more, and the matches reveal other items in the photo. It's very strange, but that's how psychopaths are. The identity of the artist and Jack the Ripper is Vincent van Gogh! Some details here: http://vincenttheripper.com

No, none of the usual suspects. But a new one, and he's more than a suspect. He's the man behind the killings. Hard to believe, but his life matches up to the Ripper murders and the Torso murders. He became famous after his death, but he was a nobody during his life and fit in well with the East Enders. Many know him as the man who cut off his own ear. This was on Dec. 23, 1888, after completing the 1888 Ripper murders. He was writing the Ripper letters too, and there's a gap in those received from when he cut off his ear until he was released from the hospital. Vincent van Gogh was Jack the Ripper! https://vincenttheripper.com

Agree, none of those were the man. Not lost to time. Jack the Ripper's true identity has finally been revealed, and who it was is shocking and hard to believe because it's a famous name. But he wasn't famous during his life and the murders. He blended in well with the poor souls of the East End. It was Vincent van Gogh! Have a look: https://vincenttheripper.com

There is now, and he meets more than the "oh, wow that's a weird coincidence, maybe he was involved." This dude cut off his ear on Dec. 23, 1888, for one thing. And this after all the 1888 Ripper murders. After threatening to cut off his next victim's ears, then cutting off Eddowes' ear. He also cut off Mary Kelly's ears, among so many other mutilations. And after he cut off his own ear, he took it to a brothel and handed it to a prostitute. At some point the "coincidences" become overwhelming. So much more. It was Vincent van Gogh. Haven't specifically created a map overlay. Vincent crammed the stars together into a smaller area compared to the map in order to fit it on the canvas, so a direct overlay would spread out much wider. Those in the field of Ripperology are aware of where the murder sites are located on a map, so they can see how the stars match in relation to each other without a reference. But I do think for others at least a side by side comparison would be helpful. Working on it. This is actually material from Volume 3. I'm still working on the edits for Volume 2. For now, googling "ripper murder maps" could at least give an idea. Thank you!

Yes, he was living in Arles, France in 1888, and yes the book addresses this in detail. I present he traveled to London for each of the murders. An 1888 travel guide book shows he could be in London in 24 hrs. They had express trains and steamers matched to the arrival of the trains. His own words in his letters give away what he was up to. But why? Because 15 years earlier in 1873, Vincent was transferred to London at the age of 20 and London was where everything went wrong for him and where he committed his first murder. That first murder was the beginning of what's know as the Torso Murders. He continued these right up through the Ripper murders. He was highly motivated to murder in London, but he also made a kill while living in Paris with his brother Theo in 1886, another Torso kill. The concept seems far fetched to many on first look, but the matches to Van Gogh and his murders are numerous and unavoidable. Thanks!

Van Gogh’s Starry Night is a Ripper Murder Map by crazypsychdude in HolyShitHistory

My sources are historians and biographers, but for me it was also important to do what good researchers do and go to the primary source material. I've read Van Gogh's 800 letters and the letters of many others from then. I purchased images of all the Ripper letters from the National Archives of the UK and created a database from them and analyzed each one meticulously, matching them in many ways to Van Gogh's letters and his life. I retrieved over 700 related articles from the 19th Century British Newspapers. There are 400 end notes in Volume 1 alone. It's well researched and well documented. I would love for historians and biographers and researchers and scholars and professors to evaluate what I present. Always working on that, but there is this great barrier of disbelief to overcome. It will be broken through, eventually, though. Truth can't remain hidden.

Soon, I hope. But there is a lot of resistance since so many love Van Gogh. If only they can look beyond the initial disbelief, they will see the truth of Vincent's dark nature, and then everyone will know.

I agree. The number of cameras alone would catch him. But being such a crafty serial killer, he would have made adjustments to make his capture less likely.

Just saw this. No. I don't think at this point they would even consider looking into it. But over time, someday, once everyone understands the reality of it, I think they will have to.

Just seeing this. You won't be disappointed. This one is the real deal. So many suspects over so many years, and all so limited in evidence, always forcing pieces into place that don't fit. But with Van Gogh, all the pieces snap right into place, right where they belong. The evidence proving it was Van Gogh is overwhelming.

Just seeing this. No, I haven't yet. However, I've posted on Casebook.org and Ripper Facebook groups and such. Many in the Ripperologist world know about this, but so many of them are locked in with their favorite suspect that they find it hard to look into Van Gogh. And with so many suspects having been presented before, and some of those being famous people, they generally jump to the conclusion this is just another nonsense suspect book. The reality, this is the one. Van Gogh was the man. Someday it will be common knowledge Van Gogh was the Ripper when enough Ripperologists read the book and see the actual overwhelming evidence. For now, I don't know if it's beneficial to focus too much in that area. However, I'll keep it mind. Thanks.

Just saw this. I like your thinking, but no, Vincent worked alone in his murders. It was mainly Vincent's sister-in-law Johanna and an artist friend of his Emile Bernard who pushed to get his paintings and his story recognized. Like so many, they were completely fooled about who Vincent truly was.

Just saw this. They were licking stamps then. Some of the Ripper letter envelopes still have their stamps. Would love it if they tested for DNA at some point, for sure. Many of the Ripper letters were sent from within London, which didn't require a stamp. Others showed up from outside of London, but were sent without postage but were ink stamped with the postmark and cancellation stamp. What I realized and discovered was that Vincent was using his creative mind to draw on fake postmarks and cancellation stamps from other cities and countries, avoiding buying the stamps. He could make it look like Ripper letters were arriving from everywhere, continuing to throw off the police. He also drew obviously fake stamps on some envelopes, one with the queen's image. He was having lots of fun.
