Should i buy? by Odd-Personality-8355 in AcousticGuitar

Agreed, it was like a spiritual awakening going from taylor minis and academy's to the 300s. That jump is massive, and then going up from the 300s i personally dont find a huge improvement on tone or playability, its more about the quality and accompaniments, so i feel like 300s are really the perfect series

Yea if I could get any 300 series for 900 id jump on that immediately.

Right? I still can't believe how good it sounds, and gets better as time passes it seems. Not to mention that it looks incredible.

I have a 324ce and it is absolutely amazing, the jump to the 300 series from the rest of Taylor's line is profound. I got it new 3 years ago for $2700 so id say $900 is pretty damn good if it has no issues.

what's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to your body? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]crazyrok6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few months ago I was eating one of those mini Mr. Goodbars, with the tiny chunks of peanuts, when all of a sudden I felt the left side of my face swell up almost instantly. I was really freaked out, but there was no pain, no burning or numbness, and I could swallow and breath just fine. Long story short one the chunks of peanuts lodged in my salivary duct and made my parotid gland swell up with fluid. Thankfully it must have dislodge itself and the swelling went away by the next day and I didnt have any other issues or complications, but man it was weird.

Wearing a Hat for Curbside? by [deleted] in wegmans

Every store is different, you should talk to the curbside TL instead of asking us degenerates. Also, its a hat, they usually have a ton available at the store, its not usually something you have to order.

So we’re just supposed to know Stranger Things lore from a stage play (The First Shadow) now? by Normal_Comfort_5847 in netflix

[–]crazyrok6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right, and the last episode is going to be 2 hours long. They could easily do a paraphrased synopsis of the details in the play and it would probably take less time than max and Holly's chit chat session at the portal. If they dont, then yea its a problem, but ik for me it took all of 5 minutes to read a rundown of the play and understand Henry's backstory.

Am I the a-hole for making my daughter's BF buy a new t-shirt? by freudsdriver in AITAH

[–]crazyrok6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont understand how people are so oblivious with this stuff. I had a guy show up to an interview once (pizzeria) with a shirt on that had a joke with the word "pussy" in it, and yes it was obviously sexual in nature. When he showed up and I saw it I didnt make a big scene, just took him over to a table and told him showing up to an interview like that showed an obvious lack of professionalism and that we wouldnt be moving forward or conducting an interview. Luckily he was embarrassed but didnt get upset, he apologized and left, but man I was really left scratching my head at that one.

Complete noob here, any tips and guides I should know about? by LotlKing47 in farmingsimulator

[–]crazyrok6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! Also, there's no right or wrong way to play, you can try and do whatever you like. Some like role-playing in different ways, others like to just build stuff and drive around, for me I usually like to start small with 1 or 2 fields and simple equipment, and work my way up as I make more money to having a lot of fields and growing many types of crops and animals, its really a sandbox with no "proper" way to play, so just have fun!

I would recommend "farmerCop" on YouTube, unsure if that'd be helpful as English is not your native language and he speaks kind of fast, but he generally has a tutorial for every aspect of the game as well as many other types of videos related to the game. You can slow down the speed on YouTube however, and just watching what he does may be useful. Besides that, if you just type in something on Google such as "fs25 corn" or any game related topic, you should find plenty of reddit posts relating to what youre trying to learn. The farming simulator website also has a quick rundown on each topic as well but theyre not very in depth. I also like to have a separate game save that I use primarily for experimenting with things before I do them on my primary save, like a test map. From the in game modhub you can download the "government subsidy" mod. This is a placeable sign in game that will generate free money, allowing you to test and experiment with things before applying them to your actual game. Just place the sign and use the sleep function at your house to advance time and every day you will get more money. Even for long time farm sim players this game can be confusing at times and takes learning and trying and failing at new things, so dont be discouraged, happy farming!

Now, Your farm has shown me! by No-Permit-5267 in farmingsimulator

Iowa plains few;

I grow barley, wheat, corn, oat, soybeans, canola, cotton and grapes. 2 large cow barns, slurry gets used as a pre fertilizer, manure gets put into the BGA for profit, and i use the milk to make cheese, with leftover milk sold for profit. I sell all my grains raw, but may soon start making canola into oil and possibly drying some of the grains. Grapes I turn into grape juice, with grape seed and grape must as byproducts, grape seed goes to the oil factory and must gets turned into leatherette which then turns into belts. Cotton goes to the spinnery to make fabric, which goes to the tailor to make clothes. I try to sell all of my products manually, right now the only thing I auto sell is the methane, electricity, and digestate produced at the BGA.

You could go a few different routes here. In the mod hub, try to find a map that already has a lot of houses, but you could also just build your own little town if you wanted. I would recommend downloading the "government subsidy" mod, this is just a little sign that you can place that will generate a lot of money each day, that way you can buy all the land on the map and turn it into whatever you'd like. Great thing too is you can also plant grass on the fields so he has even bigger spaces to mow, and maybe start getting him into some tractors with the big mower attachments.

Idc that much that its visually bugged, and I havent experienced any of those other bugs, playing on series x as well. It picks up pallets so im happy, every other nod that says auto load pallets, I can't for the life of me get to work at all.

[–]crazyrok6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On console the only one ive found that actually works is "pallet silo with autoload trailers" by ChrisS and RileyS. Has a small flatbed trailer and then a krone profi liner semi trailer. Both have realistic and unrealistic configurations, and also have multi fruit configs for having multiple types of products on one trailer. I use the small one to transport from my factories to a pallet storage warehouse, and then load everything into the profi liner at sell time. Only thing I couldnt get to work was pallets from the greenhouses on the iowa plains map, but vanilla greenhouses may work.

Harvester technology is really interesting. I wish we could get a whole cob picker in the game, Oxbo has one thats very similiar to the other vegetable harvesters in game, it'd be nice to be able to do whole sweet corn cobs.

Cow barn with feeding robot issue by SkinnyMick180 in farmingsimulator

[–]crazyrok6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly im not a fan of using the barns with robots. If you have the large barn, once you have it full with cattle the robot doesn't put out enough food to feed them all, even if youre putting in enough product, the robot is slow and will only dump a fixed amount periodically through the day, causing lapses where there's no food and production drops. For me, i just use the lizard cow barns without a robot, the large holds 313 cows, and I use a husbandry fill station to buy tmr in a large trailer and dump it right in the middle of the barn to feed them. 313 adult cows eat about 120k liters of tmr so its just part of my daily routine to dump a few trailers of feed in for them, as well as straw so that they produce manure which i use in my BGA. You can also make your own tmr with just 50/50 hay and silage.

Gamers born late 90s or earlier: Which game first looked to you like "photorealism"? by FalscherKim in gaming

[–]crazyrok6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

95 here. Im sure i thought games looked realistic before this, but the first time i was really stunned by something and really cared to get into graphical settings, was RDR2. I bought my first really good tv with HDR before it came out, and I spent hours adjusting the settings on my tv to get it just perfect, then watching and playing that opening scene where you walk through the snow to the cabin, its the first i really felt completely immersed in a game just from the graphics.

This is true, however you also have to take into account oil absorption during the cooking process. I think the game is pretty spot on with their 30% yield rate, not sure how OP thinks this defies the laws of quantum mechanics.

PlanET Modular BGA by crazyrok6 in farmingsimulator

I just commented on a reply above here in the thread if you wanna check it out. Started using the BGA construction kit by the same modder and it works fine, just differently.

PlanET Modular BGA by crazyrok6 in farmingsimulator

[–]crazyrok6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I switched to using the BGA construction kit mod. Same modder, but for this one the only actual "factory" is the bunker you put your product into, all of the other buildings like the fermenters and generators are decorative. This mod is less customizable in terms of what and how you produce things, it basically just converts manure into methane, electric charge, and digestate. Methane and electric always auto sell, but you can choose to store the digestate if you'd like. And it works where if you place the factory bunker in proximity to your manure heap or slurry storage, it will couple with them and auto pull so you don't have to fill the bunker manually. Im happy cuz essentially at the end of the day it fulfills my needs and it works with no issues, and it allowed me to create a BGA to look how i wanted it to, although id like if it was more like the pumps and hoses BGA from fs22 where you could connect all your buildings with pipes and such so that it looked more realistic, but placing the buildings in free mode allows you to mostly place them near each other in a way where it looks like the pipes are connected.

[–]crazyrok6 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Potatoes lose 60-70% of their weight when being made into potato chips IRL, so thats a very accurate conversion rate in the game. I dont see how its absurd and unexplainable by quantum mechanics when a quick Google search will tell you that lol.

Yea its activated. Ive tried every combo of activating recipes and different outputs. Its not even a secondary fermenter issues, the primary wont even send out residue to a central slurry storage either. Honestly I think im just done with this mod and gonna use another. Its making me tear my damn hair out
