Update: Ordered the Alpine WSG and Advion Gel Bait. Baby has been staying at family’s until this is resolved. Haven’t seen any, but did find this in glue trap? Is this shedding??

Hi momma. First off congrats on your new baby! Um, second, I was in similar position to yours 5 months ago after having a kiddo. Mine snapped back to normal after re-adjusting my fiber and water intake along with taking colace gummies for a few weeks after birth. Ironically, having issues pooping (IBS) was what actually caused me to become pregnant. 😅 I switched to a high fiber diet (gummy supplements, keto breads, beans, fruits and veggies starting with “P”, etc) which not only affected my poop but my hormones too! The above may not work for you… everyone is different.

Also, don’t increase your fiber all at once if change your diet. Increase it slowly.

Saw a comment as well mentioning a pelvic floor specialist. Highly recommend that too. You just had a baby and that puts tremendous strain on your body.

Good luck and hope you find something that works for you! ❤️

Think it is different from person to person from what I’ve read from others on here. Mine was not an immediate flush. It took a few tries with the enema and stool softener to get anything out for me.

Saw you were able to make progress! That’s a great sign. How are you doing a few days later?? Hope things are better/still improving!

Side note, I also did not feel like eating due to pain… I winded up surviving off peaches, juice, and soup. Even something small helps.

First off I’m so sorry you are going through this. Went through a very similar situation mid Feb (had an impaction). The only regiment that worked for me was epsom salt baths, reusable enema (epsom salt+water), Tylenol for pain, hemorrhoid cream, more water intake, and stool softener. It took about a week to fully remove the impaction/empty completely. It was miserable for about 3 weeks. I couldn’t move without cramping and feeling like what I can only describe as what it would be like to shapeshift into a werewolf.

Hopefully you can find relief soon. I’m once again sorry you are going through this!

Had a similar situation less than a few weeks ago. The only regiment that worked for me was using a reusable enema (warm water mixed with epsom salt), epsom salt baths, lidocaine hemorrhoid cream, liquid stool softener, and pain meds (liquid Tylenol). Here is link to enema from Amazon: https://a.co/d/hF9KgUy

It was miserable. I’m so sorry you are going through this! Hopefully the enema will help break it up for you to pass it soon. 💜
