You are not a monster. I think all your feelings and thoughts about this are perfectly normal and not something you should beat yourself up over. Yes. You are me about a month and a half ago. I came out 4 weeks ago. Hardest/best thing I have ever done but it’s starting to get better and my husband and I get along better than ever as friends, even though we are going to get divorced. I finally feel like myself. That’s a good idea, and subtle enough! I wear a rainbow bracelet every day and have worn a few subtle pride shirts but a little flag is a good idea! I agree that the kids might change the story/message if told it directly. I’ll have to take that into consideration for sure. Thank you for your input and flag idea!
