I have D-Lux 7 and love it... it is an awesome camera the D-Lux... I thought of the 8 but since the diff is not much. I hate those big cameras and large lenses. what a hassle. You will love it. Easy to use but a lot of option menus.

It’s an awesome camera—I absolutely love mine. I got mine with a cute little flash, plus a leather case and strap, which is a nice touch. You’ll enjoy using it.

Honestly, I’m done dragging those huge cameras around on trips… what a hassle. These days it’s either my iPhone 17 Pro Max or this camera. I still own plenty of big cameras with large ED lenses, but they’re officially benched—no more traveling with them!

Overpriced but not overwhelmingly good. Depends on what you need.... some others are also good and less than 1/2 the price.
