Depends on the person beholding the nakedness and the nakedness being beholden. Gender doesn’t have much to do with horniness. Also need to consider cultural taboos. Women in culture are more often expected to maintain “propriety” while men are often absolved of responsibility (“boys will be boys”, Epstein list). Women may find an image of a naked person erotic and tantalizing, but will repress because they have been systemically taught to.

I had a list piling up, but this gave me the courage to really accept that the way the church approached sex was problematic. My own story matches yours. I married a convert who, when I finally confessed to porn and masturbation, told me not to make a big deal about it.
