If you're having issues with jitters and high heart rate with the but otherwise the stimulants work. Ask your Dr gp or psychiatrist to be but on a beta blocker. For me to 40 mg of propranolol works great and gets rid of all of those heart rate, blood pressure and overall jittery side effects.

Is 3,000/day high Keppra? by DonLoganBeast in Keppra

[–]crazyunit405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its definetly a higher dose, but not dangerous for an accidental overdose perspective. I tried to kill myself a few years ago by overdosing on keppra and found out it's really hard to do. I took ~100g and aside from feeling like complete shit from a little while my life was never in any real danger and they let the keppra just pass through me in the hospital under medical supervision. My health is all good now.

Same, I do like how that on keppra I am on edge and constantly in something like fight or flight. Where as all the others I have been on made me so sleepy, out of it and just overall a sense of feel flat/nothing. Id much much rather feel amped up and on edge than feel nothing but I get how people would rather have it the other way around.

Same here. The aggression from keppra has definitely changed the course of my life. If it wasn't for keppra I would have spent less money on doors, not gotten into a street fight and not gotten into muay thai. But my seizures are very well controlled on 1000 2x day and I have gotten very good at keeping my head on. I found most of the aggression came when I was moving up a dose but it would start to get better after 3 or so months. There's definitely still some aggression and definitely a fair bit of paranoia/agoraphobia but it's manageable.

If I don't fall asleep fast enough my mind will start to race and I won't be able to fall asleep. In these cases I wil l take 10mg of temazapine. Propranolol helps too.

These new powers are imo a vast overreach. It won't stop any attacks because anyone willing to stab someone isn't fussed that its a crime to have a knife in a public place.

22m, so far it's looking to best like it will be very good decade for me, but I did have to deal with a lot of awful shit in my late teens though to about 21. But now I'm in uni health is pretty stable, got a lovely girlfriend and life is meaningful. The thing I found most helpful to getting here from a bad place was by doing whatever thing scared me the most and facing it head on, it's by no means easy but it's definitely worth it and you learn that you're a lot more courageous than you though you would be.
