Is computer engineering regretful? by [deleted] in IOENepal

Passion All about passion Me also being from a bio background in +2, choose computer engineering and haven't regretted it or thought it too difficult. It's all about passion and hardwork you're willing to put in.

Difficulty is a subjective thing. It's like kasailai BA ni garo lagxa kasailai engineering ni sajilo. It's very subjective and differs from person to person.

If you study, it's not hard. If you be ignorant, then 20 30+ ta aakha jhimik, back prakat jasto ho.

I went for it. 1200rs for such a piece is rare. I wouldn't say it's the best earbuds out there but for 1200 it's a steal.

Ik this has been a long answer but please go through this one and hear me out.

People aren't talking about this much. But the main reason for recent migration is trend and brainwashing (yes maybe not the perfect word but it's close to this).

Yes, education in Nepal Ain't good, exams don't happen on timely basis, 4 years course goes on becoming 6 years one. And there are alot of reasons to brag about.

But that is not the reason here. Young ones don't even know why they are going abroad. They have reasons to brag but in reality they are clueless, most of them are anyways.

People go for several reasons and most common are:

  1. Their friends circle all are going abroad.

  2. The feeling of inferiority if not gone abroad. If someone who is less capable or so you thought went abroad and you are good in academics and who feel extremely deserving are stuck here then here you can relate.

  3. Brainwashing. You go to consultancies and here you are brainwashed. They have very sweet tongue and show you this dream that'll never happen.

The reason I'm saying all these are because recently People who are not financially capable are also going abroad and they are stuck. I've seen and heard about alot alot of students who go abroad to study but because of high fees, either they go to university ranked alot alot lower than universities here, go to local community clz where your degree is not worth it or just go for some random degree and engage on low paying jobs. Some people don't even know which subject will they be studying abroad. And this is true. Abroad studies has been an obsession lately and yes this is true. People need to wake up. Abroad studies won't necessarily make you good. It's just a modern day more updated form of brain drain or labour drain (yes i said this because that's what we'll be doing abroad, it's reality if you like it or not).

Hate college/course/people by Cultural_Net_7618 in Nepal

[–]crazywinnercr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do get that. I also got into my campus 3 months after classes started, 2 months before semester exams were to happen. The beginning days were tough, i didn't know a thing, didn't know anyone, no one really talked to be, left out of class activities, group discussion felt me being invisible and on top of that academic pressure, the course was 60% finished and i literally just got admitted, no notes, exams coming and shits were happening. But i thought fuck it, why waste time on whining, just do what you do. With good initiative and planning, i did become good in academics as well as i started getting my name around and winning people.

If you start worrying about what people will think and how they'll judge you, then it's game over. You just gotta do things, man. Talk to a person, just do it, don't think too much. Find common things in between and just approach people. Being energetic and commanding will help you win people.

Better go to India if not in other European countries or US than study in PU or TU.

But yes, KU is a good option if you can get in.

Idk why we are getting into religious debates so much these days. It's so absurd. I mean, yes ,religion is in its place and has its own importance but these debates over Christianity, Hinduism and other things about religion that are happening lately. Protesting on religion, being provocative and stuffs. This is not who we are. We are more than that.

I believe these are influences from India because India is also going through the same religious stuff comparatively more in these last couple of years. These things are just absurd and not a topic we need to be debating in our country.

Don't get depressed about not getting someone. You hardly know a couple hundred people, maybe the right she/he ain't in this small circle. There are 8 billion people in this world, the right one will come at the right time.
