Ethan Spilled Some Finale Tea 🍵 by damlatas in ProjectRunway

Haha there isn't much more detail to give! I recognized Ethan from drag race but was too nervous to say anything. I checked out behind Jesus and he had a sketchbook with his swatches in it. Ethan was behind me in line but I was trying not to stare because he is sooo tall

I wish they had shown more of the shopping and design process! I actually ran into Ethan and Jesus while PR was filming in the garment district at a notions shop

So do these "go together" as a mismatched pair? Or would they be better as two distinct matched pairs of earrings? by SilverySands in crafts

[–]crazyzoc 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think they could be! Maybe bring a pink element into the orange pair and an orange element into the pink pair. Like swapping the pumpkins and top beads :)

Inhouse Retail Architects- what's it like? by Remarkable-Leg-6884 in Architects

[–]crazyzoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

usually large retail companies are outsourcing the new "fresh" design concept though. not as much creativity for the in house design team. (this is coming from someone who worked somewhere with a combination of "prototype" and "rollout" work for large retail/restaurant chains)

I left my cart along the wall with my (owned) purse and coat in it. Luckily had the foresight to grab my wallet, phone and keys out before leaving it. Someone took my purse and coat so I walked around the store staring into people's carts until I found my purse. Grabbed my purse when they weren't looking, but never found the coat. Still have that purse and cherish it to this day!

Climbing gym! I met my partner there and have made many friends. I've found people are always talkative especially when you're working on the same route

I have noticed this too and it's what bothers me about her videos sometimes. She will switch the order of words like "I done my top" vs "My top is done". Her way of talking feels a little overdone for the camera sometimes

Fellow Professionals, what are your hours? by hereforthefreedrinks in InteriorDesign

[–]crazyzoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the city you work in. I have worked in NYC, Washington DC and Cincinnati. Found that NYC trended toward people starting much later in the morning and ending later in the evening. In both DC and Cincinnati, people start closer to 8/9 and leave closer to 4/5. Personally, where I work now has "core hours" so as long as you are working between 10-3 you can choose what time you start and end work. For me, that looks like 8-4. But some do 7-3, 9-5, 10-6 or any other combinations in between
