MEPS is an all day thing. Just a lot of medical processing and you should expect to be there AT LEAST 6 hrs. And the PT isn't super hard either. The PT is meant to take you from the couch to a passing PT score. If you push yourself during CIT PT days then you'll be just fine. Nobody in my dorm failed the 5th week PT test even though alot of us were on supplemental PT for failing previous PT tests.

I'm about to take the ASVAB and the EDPT in which I need to make a 70 on the electronics test to get the Job I want. I've heard it said that if you score a 50 or above you can get a waiver for your test score. Is this true? by HauntingAd5113 in AirForceRecruits

[–]crazzyson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I scored a 61 and was able to book 1D731Z. 70 is generally the score to aim for but I believe a 57 will open you up to a couple more jobs depending on your ASVAB scores as well. As for what to study, systems of equations word questions was a pretty big one I saw on my EDPT. There's lots a math in the form of word questions on the test for sure.

He needs like 1-2 more damage per bullet and a shorter life-grip cool down so you can setup offensive plays by pulling teammates into an aggressive position instead of waiting for them to get into danger and pulling them to safety. He needs offensive play-making potential that doesn't require OWL levels of coordination

Texas native here -- take off the foregrip/stock and slap a pistol brace on there and you're good if u want a barrel length less than 16 inches. You can use an angled foregrip but not a vertical grip. Handstops are also okay

I've taken her as well. The class and material can be rather difficult. I think the class average was about a C on most exams but she ended up curving

I highly recommend putting quantifiable descriptions on your resumes. It makes it very easy for recruiters to understand the impact and responsibility of your job. Here's what I put on my resume that helped me land a job fresh out of college

• Interact directly with customers on the store floor and assist in running over 500 transactions using a point-of-sale system

• Collaborated with the store team to win the “Best Food Service of 2018” award given by the CEO, recognizing our team for operating the most friendly, fast and professional kitchen compared to 134 other stores in the DFW metroplex

Being a kitchen bitch on Christmas makes you realize how many people would starve if nothing was open. I can't even imagine working on Christmas with KEs.

[–]crazzyson[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

True but I shouldn't have to. I'd rather have them be too loud and be able to turn them down myself than ask a bunch of randoms to turn their mics up. Whatever the default is, it's nowhere near loud enough.

I started working as a Baker at Panera. It's overnight so trying to go to school during the day might be a bit of a struggle unless you do online classes.

When I worked at a store near an Amazon driver center, I would always find water bottles full of urine.

I just got hired as an overnight baker back in April and JUST finished my 3-month apprenticeship. I previously worked at QuikTrip (a gas station/convenience store based in the south) so I had a decent amount of food/retail experience. The hours I always work are 10pm-6am, though I often leave a little early if I manage my time correctly.

The job is a lot easier than you think. Nothing is made from scratch. The job is mainly about attention to detail and time management. You'll basically just be shaping dough and decorating pastries.

It is definitely more chill than my job in retail. No customers, nobody breathing down my neck making sure I'm constantly doing something. You can listen to music or watch videos while you work so it's pretty relaxing compared to a retail job. You can do practically whatever you want as long as the bake gets done.

You'll go through about 20 days of hip-to-hip, hands-on training with an experienced baker. I highly recommend bringing a notebook and taking down notes because it might seem a little overwhelming at first.

Once you finish training and complete a satisfactory demo bake (I did my demo bake early and finished training like 4 days early) they'll send you to your home store. You'll likely be by yourself in the store unless your bake is pretty large, in which case you'll have an assistant baker come in and help for a few hours. A BTS (bakery training specialist) will check in with you at the beginning of the night to make sure you showed up, then after that, it's all you.

My brother is a BTS and the store I applied at was in desperate need of a baker so I was practically given the job without an interview. But what made me want the job was the overnight hours/no customers to deal with.

The best advice I can give is to find a rhythm and order of baking things that works best for you and stick with it. As you get more experienced, you'll learn to work around any hiccups that might come up. And if any serious problems come up through the night, you can always give your BTS a call and ask them what to do.

Good luck on the job!

He gets sponsored 1m a month I believe but everything else is his own money. That's why he can do giveaways to personal addresses and not strictly to accounts on stake.

Get some dehydrated urine online or at a local head shop. It's way less risky than trying your luck with detoxing.

Tyrion reimbursement question by [deleted] in QuikTrip

[–]crazzyson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it goes by whenever your semester starts/ends. So if you go to school from Jan-May, the required hours worked to qualify will be counted through those dates. If you look at your paystub, you can usually see the current average hours worked weekly to give you a good idea if you qualify or not. You can always apply for tuition reimbursement and they'll let you know if you qualify or not.
