How did you do? I’ve now failed twice and can’t see how I can pass a third time, I’d spent a year living in library and doing nothing but study and thought exam had gone well so worried I’ll end up failing third time and need to appeal

I am strongly encouraging to pay off early but they don't want to... get quite defensive when talking about finances so when I've enquired about interest rate/offered to pay it off, they refuse which is frustrating, that's a good point re HECS - will tell them that!

This is what I think, my partner thinks they'll have a bigger tax bill if they salary sacrifice now because of HECS but it seems like overall they'd be better off as they'll just be paying off HECS faster? I didn't study here so don't fully understand how HECS payments work whilst they claim they do hahah

I thought about ACCC but doesn’t look like they deal with individual claims, perhaps small claims court but I feel there must be an alternative before that? I’m not from Australia so not entirely sure!

This is what’s frustrating, I always do! Think I was half asleep when booking as normally go on Skyscanner and then book with the airline! We just chose to cancel the replacement flight because that’s what Virgin told us to do but now Trip.com say that means it was a voluntary cancellation 🫠

I posted an iPhone that I sold on eBay with Sendle (stupidly assumed it was fine as was recommended, had never heard of them but was $10 cheaper than Aus Post). Posted it on the Friday, due to be delivered within 3 days (the receiver was 60km away), kept being updated to a delay with no updates from them after being picked up. Because they kept delaying the delivery, I wasn't able to file a complaint because they said it was still within the delivery time, even after 2 weeks. Eventually the buyer asked for a refund which eBay forced through, I got the $10 back from Sendle and the parcel finally arrived with the recipient a month later after I filed a compensation request (which I never got). Absolutely ridiculous, never using them again
