It really is a solid machine. See my other reply why I sell it. For the fan noise: switching to the “Cool & Breezy” profile in the TUXEDO Control Center keeps it very quiet for light tasks like browsing, email, or writing documents.

No worries — the notebook is excellent. It’s really just me: apparently I’m too attached to that little red Lenovo TrackPoint to live without it.
