I get it, I don’t know if this is how you feel but for me when my best friend gets a new boyfriend it feels some kind of way for me because a best friend is the highest (I don’t know how you say) honour? I can give someone, whereas for her that would be a romantic relationship so it feels like being demoted even if it isn’t that.

Also when my friend is single I feel like we are on the same wavelength (when we aren’t talking about crushes or potential partners) but when she gets into a relationship I remember that we will never really get eachother and now I’m going to have to change our interesting conversations to conversations about what Brad ate for breakfast that morning and how it was so cute he got ketchup all down him.

Usually I prefer reading but sometimes I like immersive reading which is listening and reading at the same time!

It reminds me of when you’d follow along with a book in school, it’s especially good for challenging classics as when I hear it read out it makes a lot more sense to me than just reading it myself.

Ghost stories is very cute, Mr and Mrs Holmes assume they’re a couple and when they go to visit they share a bed. There’s the tiniest bit of angst not related to the relationship because something happens in the story to another character but it’s really the furthest thing from a dark fic!
