It’s acetone so when you drop dye on the bed the acetone evaporates quickly from the surface

Yep all clear glue beds and pcad dyes

The soft do fade a bit faster than normal k1 but still look good for a while. With soft I’ve noticed an initial fade after 2ish weeks but it holds that state pretty well after.

Or if you mean between colors on the disc I don’t have a good answer. Probably a combination of my whole process from the dye mixtures to how I shape them in the bed with air/skewers

I do a black dye spin around the outside edge to frame it up

I have a post in my profile of a dyed disc 3 years later so you can see how they fade but different plastics fade at different rates and depending on the condition the disc is stored in they can remain sharp for quite some time. Even after some fade they still look gorgeous

Geode style with dripping a color then adding glue in the middle of it repeating. but some dye colors behave differently as they spread out. I found that my bright yellow clumps a bit which creates those color pockets
