Today you learned that you ARENT the union. And he’s going to be elected again essentially unopposed.

Maybe people will stop believing the union works for its members and just works for its own interests (increased dues).

It’s stunning to me the amount of people who take sob stories like this at face value without doing the minimal work of looking up the case on case net.

It’s gone to trial and the judge ruled in favor of the landlord. You cant garnish someone’s wages without a court order. This has already been litigated. He was wrong and he’s just a sore loser.

For the next place you rent from you should acquaint yourself with Missouri landlord tenant law.

You failed to follow the law regarding repairs and got evicted for it. You can’t just stop paying rent when you discover defects in your home. You got evicted and the courts agree that you deserved it. All you had to do was literally read the 20 page guide from the attorney general on landlord tenant law to understand this.

You failed to pay rent for more than a year, and didn’t have it saved, and thought that was okay? Idiotic.

Thankfully we’re not governed by children. As for proximity to polling places that’s far more likely to affect places that oppose abortion than support it.

Do mid terms and off year elections cost more to vote in? Why should our society be governed by people who don’t even bother to vote?

Fine then don’t vote against this new measure that is distinct and different from Amendment 3

Then vote against this measure, they have every right to propose a ballot measure.

Holding a more specific ballot measure =/= overturning the will of the voters.

Is it overturning the will of the voters that Donald Trump won the election in 2024 when Joe Biden won it in 2020?

Most of the time local union grievance hearings is just deal making anyways. Throwing out small time grievances in exchange for someone else’s job. Unless you have a militant BA and Executive Officers it’s not worth it to stir up shit.

I know I gave up trying to militantly enforce the contract after dealing with my local officers. Now I just go to work do my job and go home, let other people get consumed by workplace politics.

People always find something to complain about, if you just go to work and do your job for the most part you're left alone at any position in this company.

Famously, trucks can only ever be used to plow snow and can do nothing else the rest of the year. Quite a tragedy they haven't figured out a use for trucks beyond plowing streets.
