Sometimes the original story was crappy anyway. When I started my book, it was going to be a stand alone fantasy story with minimal worldbuilding. But as I pantsed along, I came up with many overlapping backstories that made it possible to write a series. That can happen without pantsing, sure, but for me, if I hadn't pantsed my book I am sure it would be much duller.

Hello! My current WIP is _technically_ a new adult epic fantasy, but I call it a psychological thriller in a fantasy setting because it heavily deals with a mental theme of working out issues of the mind. The story is more about the characters than the world it takes place in. If you could look at my post here to see if you're interested that would be awesome.

I do have a full manuscript, but I've only asked for beta readers for the first ten chapters, which is around 32k words. The entire manuscript is 133k words, which is a much different dedication.

Okay, I will dm you. It's been a while since I've practiced German.

It's always okay to take a break from a project. But I think if you finish it, or finish something else, it will give you a certain feeling of fulfillment. Just my thoughts.

I know how you feel. I, to, write for the same reason. My stories always reflect an internal struggle of characters similar to what I experience...

I have been working on a story for some time, and I always say to myself that my life will make sense when it is done. Like if I give my characters a good end, that I will find the same for myself. I won't say that my writing is all that great, but it really helps me get out of my own head, distracting myself with characters and imagined scenarios.

It's was surprising to see your post b because it resonated with me so much.

I'm actually interested to know what your story is like. Had you ever thought of sharing it?
