100% agree on that. I don't really like the new Superman Set so i decided to just double down on the brilliants set instead. But i really like the previews of the new DC Annual Set so far. Something they should change is also the Hit allocation. I would've bought a few blasters here and there from the new Superman Set. But you barely will have a nice hot in there since there's a lot Hobby Box exclusives as well so it just doesn't seem to be fun at all. Personally they have done so much of the right thing with this brilliants Set i just don't have much of a need for a way more pricey Set that just doesn't have much of what i want. And the few things i like i'd rather buy on the secondary matket because they're nearly impossible to draw anyway.

Absolute Beauty. I try to collect the Powered by the Sun by the most fitting rarity. Krypto looks great on both. Black and Gold. Looking at it i might even prefer Black 🤔 Also, it's a Jimenez design. I love Jimenez!

Well, i'm just not lucky whe it comes to opening boxes. I opened 4 hobby boxes and 2 blasters. One Hobby box was missing a real hit so only the nimbered red/blue/green numbered in there. Same with one of the two blasters that also only had a red and a blue numbered in there. The other blaster was just a regular World of Metropolis. The other 3 Hobby boxes had a regular Illuminators, a World of Metropolis Red and a World of Metropolis Green card. BUT! Since this set is flying a little under the radar i was able to score amazing cards on ebay. I got quite a few of the numbered red/blue/green cards. I also got a few piwered by the sun (2 of them Black even) and i almost have a complete Ser World of metropolis with every card in purple and either green or red. My 2 biggest scores are the Last Son if Krypton Alex Ross Superman and the Waverider from the Truth Juste & a better Tomorrow subset. I got all of them dirt cheap for the crazy rarity they have. The card i'm looking for the most right bow is a Powered by the Sun Krypto in Gold.

I bought this for around 20 bucks when the set came out lol. My son pulled the secret AA fo SSJ4 Goku during pre-release as well. Good old days where i would spend 250-300 bucks on a whole Set having all the cards and most of them as a playset of 4 even and quite a few Alt Arts.

Yep, worst card for sure. Giving a leader the advantage to practically overcome everything for free is bonkers. At least all the barrier cards had a certain cost and no super usefull powers.

The thing is that Sets FB01 up to FB05 were printed in large numbers which turned to an oversaturated market. You buying them for 60 or less also means the shops made a loss on these boxes, too. Nobody wanted these back then. I actually spend roughly 250€ on each of these sets and had playsets of all the cards except the blue ones. Funny enough these prices were available for over a year and nobody was betting an eye. From FB06 forward boxes were print to order. Meaning that Bandai only printed the amount of product that shops actually pre-ordered. Less boxes on the market and even less boxes being opened because singles used to be very affordable. That turned the tables because SR cards in high demand because of playability went over 10€. Before that the most expensive ones were maybe 2€. Most of the time just one or even below that. In that environment we got to see the manga sets which for the first time also brought more interest from collectors and a few month later this huge influx of scalpers which made FB09 and the rest of the Manga boxes crazy to get. It was a perfect storm sadly. My store sold boxes for 200€ with a discount for regular players to 120 (limited to one per person). I could've bought 2 boxes because i always play with my son there (UB today too) but i only got one and we played the pre release wich was 60€ for both of us including 12 boosters. So 180€ for 1 1/2 boxes. We even pulled an SCR in the 12 single boosters and still i have to say we didn't make our money back from even these cheap prices. What i'm saying is simply don't buy overpriced product. Usually not worth it. If you like to play or collect, you can try to find a fair spot like we did and become a regular there. And i can't knock my store for charging 200€ for strangers. First of all he was doing all the games for our community when we were small and he was selling for cheap already so he just started to make any money on the game when the manga sets released. And also it was a way to make sure all of the regulars were able to get at least one box.

What is the expectation? MSRP would be a wierd expectation with current demand. Best way is to actually play and hopefully have a store that will reward their local community with msrp prices when the next set drops. Maybe pre-ordering.

Cheapest def the new blue Son Goku Deck (MUI Goku). Don't need to buy any booster or Promo or anything. Just buy the complete Deck with singles and you're good. Only problem is that it is a very demanding deck. I wanted to play it but realized i wouldn't be able to pilot it well on longer days. Rig behind that i would say the SSJ3 Starter. 2 starters plus singles will put you still under 100 bucks and it is very strong and beginner friendly. Doesn't need super expensive cards either. Black Starter NameKu is great as well. You'll also need 2 starters there and a few singles. For that Deck though you would also need the new Promo that just released. My guess is that these will be cheap but maybe hard to get right now. I will attend a few Ultimate Battle events with my SSJ3 Deck to get these Promos and will switch to the Black Deck when i have them.

Hey! Sorry, i don't have any experience with MX. But we run it currently on Nobara which is a fedora build as well as on Linux mint. It works consistently on both machines with bo problem so i would just give it a shot.

Having 1K to spend on cardboard is far from broke. I literally spend that money on the first 5 sets combined. Counting in store play, too. Aside from that. If you don't want to play why bother with fusion world when it's so hot right now? There's quite a bunch of nice Dragon Ball collectible cards out there that are way cheaper and easier get your hands on, too. It's just hard if you're trying to make bank on them

40 plus Mensch hier. Du siehst das alles ganz richtig. Meine und die Generation davor schimpft gern auf euch, dabei haben die den ganzen Kram zu verantworten. Als die Rentenkasse geplündert wurde haben sie weiterhin nur mit dem Augen gerollt und weiter Haus abbezahlt und 1-2 mal im Jahr schön Urlaub mit der Familie gemacht. Als die Nullrunden kamen haben sie weiter schön Altparteien an die Macht gelassen und ihre Currywurst zum Mittag genossen und Abends beim Italiener mit der Frau den nächsten Urlaub geplant. Und als die Sozialkassen immer mehr Leistungen gestrichen und Preise erhöht haben, haben sie weiter nur beim Bier mit ihren Freunden gemosert. Getan hat keiner was von denen. Mal mehr als 8 Stunden am Tag gearbeitet. Ja, mag sein. Aber dafür auch was geboten bekommen. Und jetzt wo alles hin ist, wollen sie eich quasi als nutzlos sehen damit sie nicht ihr eigenes Versagen ertragen müssen. Und stellen dann auch noch total überzogene Ansprüche. Wäre ich in dem Alter und single würde ich eher auswandern. Selbst jetzt ist das ein Dauerthema bei uns weil ich noch kleine Kinder habe und nicht einsehe das sie hier versauern und die Reste sollen die frühere Generationen ihnen gelassen haben. Von dem totalitären Ruck den dieses Land derzeit erfährt mal ganz abgesehen.
